The reason behind it was more than just the possibility of inappropriate capes. I won't disclose much about this due to moderation purposes but I can assure you that it was for good reason. I do, however, agree that official capes should be allowed back through some sort of cosmetic system.

They did that anyway with the Minecon capes as well. Some were literally sold for thousands...

I don’t think the capes look good to be completely honest. If you look at them closely, you can even see they messed up the texture of the backs of the capes (they’re off centered). Though the elytra texture definitely makes up for it… 😂 I don’t agree with this. I think they’re extremely easy...

I think the VIP levels reward enough already. Here and there I guess a prefix or gravestone skin extra wouldn’t hurt, but the main point of VIP levels is that they exist to reward players for purchasing content from the store. It’s just a bonus. They didn’t have to give out rewards for buying...

No, you need to be in the Discord.

This would better fit in a future achievement system. I don't really agree with this at the moment because of the lack of one. I would however love to see a [Beta Tester] prefix be added to the Beta Games Subscription. It's temporary, and thus exclusive.
