Well,I think blockwars can be 1.8 becouse this gamemode has big teams and the factor of defend and attack hitting slowy(more when someone carries the flag)can be maddening.I like 1.9/1.10 PvP but in big teams gamemode no.Also the 1.8 lovers can like this frenetic gamemode,Seeing that blockwars...

As of now I think there are only two defensive kits out there. Warrior and Builder. Builder is only for building and not for actuall defense. Warrior is the only good kit for fighting off the bad guys without dying right away. Also I don't die a lot playing defense so my armor and weapons break...

After you get a kill you auto regen for either half or all of your health. As Block wars is a fast paced game I don't think this should matter much. Maybe you get a stone sword or wooden axe and a chain chestplate or leggings. This kit would be more defensive because if you were on the front...
