your place is in some 6th grade discussion homieHomie just mad he lost his translator rank
dude, that was rudeHomie just mad he lost his translator rank
I don't deny itThis is hilarious because you can’t even deny that you’re mad because you lost your special translator privileges. A lot of the anger in this thread is the result of players losing their ranks.
It's not just for that reason, no. If you even bothered to read any of the replies, you'd know why people are mad, instead you just jump straight to conclusions. This is hilarious because you can’t even deny that you’re mad because you lost your special translator privileges. Could you tell me which are those "translator privileges"?This is hilarious because you can’t even deny that you’re mad because you lost your special translator privileges. A lot of the anger in this thread is the result of players losing their ranks.
ngl, the only "privilege" I cared about was extra emoji abilities in the discord. Which is more of the plus privilege.Could you tell me which are those "translator privileges"?
To be honest, I have been part of the staff team and I've never see any "privileges" that they have, except just one command that doesn't count as a privilege. Anyways, try to read the whole thread before talking. :D
You didn't, you have 8+ pages of straight negative feedback about this update, members like blom have given a lot of constructive feedback, yet you are ignoring it and acting as if the update was great success.apologize for the time taken to acknowledge all of the comments that everyone has left regarding this;
Anything that can be used to identify a specific person counts as personal information. You can find a more in-depth explanation here from the ICO, the UK authority for dealing with GDPR. Because some of the questions on a translator application include information about yourself, that classes as personal identifiable information and therefore is protected under our privacy policy.@Camezonda

Can you please explain how exactly application information is "personal", and show the relevant part of the law because it is very long?
All that gets copied is translated text, that's it.
Thanks for giving a solid reply. I still don’t agree in any way, but it’s good to receive some in-depth information regarding this topic. I didn’t know about GDPR for instance.Hey everyone! We've noticed some common questions and concerns and we've made some FAQs for them. I've added them to the bottom of the main post. We might add more to it in the future as more common questions are asked.
We apologize for the time taken to acknowledge all of the comments that everyone has left regarding this; however, as you can imagine, we needed to ensure that all issues were addressed before moving forward.
Thanks! :)
Cam.
Unless I'm mistaken, that information stays on the forums, does it not? It never makes it to discord. The only thing on discord are translated tests, which contains no personal information.. Because some of the questions on a translator application include information about yourself
I don't think the main problem is loosing ranks, as it was just a few translators that actually had it.I don’t understand how any of what I said was toxic. I was merely stating that a good amount of people were angry because they lost their ranks. IWontHurtYou’s response to my post confirmed this. There’s no toxicity in my post, and if there is any toxicity here it was shown by you when you called me an “incel” for simply speaking my mind.
How is claiming all TT are greedy of power and their ranks anything related tobeing an incel?Literally, that's the least of anyone's concern. There are so many non-ranked TT members just against the change overall. You're in a pitiful delusion of wanting to hate on translator ranks because your short fetched mind can only see greed for a rank in people. Go back to spreading your toxicity in your incel chamber, incel.
I don't know the specifics of how it worked, I was just responding to what you asked - I assume not, but it's definitely likely that people shared personal information (even about themselves) in the translator discord. It's our continued belief that it's best to be on the safe side when it comes to people's data.Unless I'm mistaken, that information stays on the forums, does it not? It never makes it to discord. The only thing on discord are translated tests, which contains no personal information.
I’ve commented on the translation team maybe once or twice in the past, so I don’t how you are deducing that every one of my comments about the translation team has been rude. In fact I have no problem with the translation team, I was in the translation team briefly during its infancy when Elenahh asked people to join the team. I have a problem with the reasons people want to join the translation team(i.e some people vied for a translation rank in order to establish themselves within the staff team and subsequently apply for helper when before they were unable to make it as helper as a normal member or others trying to get it simply for the perks). I don’t think all of the translators are power hungry, but you can’t deny that the introduction of the translator rank resulted in an influx of translator applications. Additionally, I don’t appreciate you attacking my character for speaking my mind. You tell me to be respectful but you immediately contradict yourself by insulting me. You’re a funny guy, pal.I don't deny I was toxic but it's cause I've had enough of your comments about TT. You're really not much less toxic than I just was. I've never seen a single respectful or non-rude reply from you about anything related to TT. All you think is that all translators are either rank wannabes or power hungry rank owners. We're not. You gain 0 respect from anyone when you make comments such as these. Learn to be respectful, because people won't just abide your attitude in the real world. You're not as innocent or important as you think you are.
This is going to be my last reply since I cannot continue this conversation, as it induces my toxicity way more than enough, but I will give one last response. I've seen many of your comments and you definitely did not comment once or twice about TT. You've commented way too much negative stuff; not just here and not just about TT. You can only play innocent for so long Smoothly. I've seen my fair share of toxicity from you throughout my time in cube. And I know you know and dislike me too. You've always been passive aggressive and people can easily see through it.I’ve commented on the translation team maybe once or twice in the past, so I don’t how you are deducing that every one of my comments about the translation team has been rude.
