It's finally time for...drumroll please
The long-awaited official competitive environment for our players. Now, what exactly are we going to do in this environment?
You've read it right! We will have tournaments, starting out with EggWars for both of our platforms, Java and Bedrock! The tournaments will be single elimination until 8 teams remain, and then we will move on to the best of 3's. For the final game, we will have a best of 5 to have some excitement!

Once again, you've read it right. We have customized and revised existing maps to provide a fairer experience for our players.
Palace
New Endgame Mechanic
Yup! We will have a custom endgame mechanic in order to prevent games from lasting hours. We don't want to bore our players to death, after all. Instead, now we have a deathmatch mechanic. But how does it work?
First of all, all shops and eggs are deleted from the game after 20 minutes. This will be done 5 minutes after the hosts' warning, so you'll have plenty of time to prepare. But what then?
Afterwards, if your team had an egg standing, your team will get one Totem of Undying per person, as a reward. Keep in mind that after the 20-minute mark, shopping will also become impossible since the shops will also be removed in the deathmatch. Truly an epic way to end the game, a glorious fight. A fight which determines if you can win the league, or not.
League Prizes!
Of course, it wouldn't have been a league without any rewards now, would it? We have some sweet rewards to offer to our players. For the top 3 teams, we will have
- A new podium in the lobby, reserved for the best teams of the competition.
- A prefix in gold, silver or bronze with a
- A border profile in gold, silver or bronze, depending on your team's placement (Bedrock only)
- A Emote in gold, silver or bronze with a
- A rank of your choice or 4 months of obsidian if your team got first place
- A bundle of your choice or 3 months of obsidian if your team got second place
- A single loot item of your choice or 2 months of obsidian if your team got third place

Our ex-moderators are more than welcome to apply to become a host for our league! The requirements are as following:
If you meet these conditions, we would be more than happy to see you with us! You can apply to become a host by opening a discord ticket on our main discord server, or reach out to us directly!
- You need to be an ex-moderator or more.
- You must not have any recent infractions.
- You should be preferably active in the community, even a little bit.

I think for a team mode, a LTM can be made for just a while to ensure that people can practice. On the other hand, I don't see how a solo mode cannot be used for competitive play. Back in the days, when I was staff at CCR, we used to do this a lot, with great success. We'll see what the future has awaiting for us with the league!
Will there be a YT channel that will post the games somewhere? This wouldn't be hard to do and would be fun, then people not on DC or people that missed the game can look back and watch!
