Last week, you may have seen that we released our latest addition to the Beta Games lobby, for closed beta/early access to our Beta Games Subscription holders. Today, we're here to announce that Buy 'N' Build is now available for everyone on our Bedrock network to play in our Beta Games lobby. Read below to learn more!
What is Buy 'N' Build?
It's a combination of a Build Battle & shopping! You're given a theme, and at the start of each round, you must shop for the blocks you want to build with. At the end of each round, you vote for the best builds, and the player with the most votes wins!
Buy 'N' Build is a game of strategy, speed and creativity. What blocks are you going to pick? How are you going to build the theme? Will you have enough time? Everything matters!

How do I play Buy 'N' Build?
This game is definitely easier the more you play, but if you watch and read below, you'll understand fully how to play in these simple steps!
When the game starts, a theme is picked and will appear on your screen and at the top of the screen throughout the game. The mall will open, and you have 1:30 minutes to shop for the blocks you want, to build the theme. The Mall is split up into stores, they have signs to help identify what blocks will be inside. Also, be careful; you have a limited amount of coins, so make sure to buy the best blocks for the job!
After 20 seconds from the game starting, your build plot will open, run into the build portal, and start building. You can go back to the mall for more blocks if you want, but hurry before it closes. You can speed run the mall if you want, and get the most out of the 2:40 minute build time!
Once on your build plot, use the blocks you've bought to make your creation to match the build theme. Once again, the mall may close as you're building, so if you need more blocks, go back to the mall before it closes. Make the most out of the build time, keeping an eye on the timer at the top of the screen. You'll be given a 30 seconds warning before the end of the build round.
At the end of the build time, you'll be taken to the voting zone. Here, you'll be shown a specific set of 2 builds. Fly near or click the letter on your hotbar for the build you think is best. After voting, the scores will be added up, and the player with the most votes will get more coins to spend in the mall! - Now onto round 2 of building!
Once voting ends, you'll be taken back to your build plot, where you can continue building your creation for 3 minutes or go back to the shopping mall for more blocks. You will have a new set of coins to spend, plus more coins if you were voted highly in the last voting round. Once again, you'll have 1:30 minutes to shop in total or head back to your build plot earlier if you have what you need., Then continue building your creation, and vote again at the end of round 2.
Lastly, round 3 has the chance to add a bonus theme to the build theme. If this happens, hurry and change your build to match the new theme to get the most votes! - But round 3 can also stay as the starting theme; regardless, you can go back to the mall for more blocks and build. The final voting round is worth double points. The players with the most votes win!
