The Survival Games rank has been given a polish. With all gravestones redesigned and retextured, and the biggest change, the kill effects have been revamped with the addition of a new one! - Check them out.

- Added 1.19 Items into chests (Crossbows, food, Netherite)
- Added tipped arrows into chests
- Added more strings and sticks
- Added smithing table to all maps
- Added farm animal spawners in maps, for experience purposes
- Added new enchants to weapons and armor
- Added more crafting tables around the maps
- Improved the design of some maps and pre-lobbies
- Removed power 2 bow from normal
- Slightly increased the chance of chests appearing on maps
- Slightly increased the amount of experience bottles in chests
- Healer kit: Changed one of the health potions to be drinkable
- Changed Chef kit:
- Basic - 1 Steak & Golden Carrot
- Normal - 2 Steak & Golden Carrot
- OP - 2 Steak & 2 Golden Carrot
- All healing potions found in chests are now drinkable
- Added new Kill Effect: Disintegrate
- Revamped Hospital Gravestone
- Revamped Bone Pile Gravestone

I really hate being that one guy who’s a downer, but this update is so disappointing to me. CubeCraft was the closest thing we had left to an original survival games experience. Sure, the loot was at times a bit overpowered, but The Hive’s loot was all boring, dull, and filled with weird TNT variants. The new CubeCraft loot is pretty lame to say the least. Boring food items like berries and uncooked fish/meat make up the majority of what you’ll find. As far as weapons, unfortunately they’re far too common now. Sure, you could always find a good enchanted sword here and there before, but now it seems like there’s an abundance. And before, though you could find them somewhat often, finding diamond armor was a big deal. Now, I run into 3+ players each game with multiple pieces of enchanted diamond armor on them each game. Where’d it come from? The supply drops. Supply drops are ok in theory (when you ignore the fact that EVERY SINGLE SURVIVAL GAMES SERVER HAS THEM AND NO ONE CAN SEEM TO COME UP WITH ANY ORIGINALITY ANYMORE…) but cube crafts whole survival games model is fast paced games with small maps that close rapidly. Each game lasts maybe 5-7 minutes. The supply drops are ridiculous. Overpowered, CONSTANTLY spawning, not to mention we could get supply drops from literally any other survival games server. CubeCraft was the best around for me because they were the last who hadn’t entirely given in to the supply crate fad every other server had. More than anything I’m just sad. I loved this server, now I can’t stand to play it. Hopefully my opinion switches soon.
I am a big fan of the kill effects! I love that the rank received a revamp and it looks so much better and cooler now 
While I see many people praising this update, it's the opposite for me:
I was excited for this update but it turned out to be a disaster. The update has done a few improvements but some things I disagree with the update.
Improvements:

The things that made me hate this update:
- Horizontal Knockback is bugged again! This bug annoys me because it makes PvP games more difficult. I know that it may not be intended. This is a general server bug and is not specific to this game. Speaking of knockback...
- Knockback enchantment on swords. Seriously??? Knockback is so weak in Survival Games since the game has less places to hit people off cliffs, the other purpose of it is to hit people away from you to try to heal. This is one of the things that makes fights last longer (in a negative way). It annoyed me when I got a knockback 2 diamond sword thinking it was a sharpness sword while my opponent actually has a sharpness diamond sword without knockback enchantment.
- Thorns enchantment on armor. This enchantment breaks your combos or can cause trades to happen more often because it has a chance of activating when the enemy player wearing said armor pieces get hit. This is another thing that can give your opponent an opportunity to escape.
- Too many unnecessary food, most of the food added in this update either give low hunger or saturation, or cannot be stacked at all.

this update is really cool, and I'll even start grinding sg duo now, but it would be cool if you added a compass to each player's inventory at the beginning of the game
Ye id agree but i used to use the explosion kill affect a lot and i liked it cuz it was a big bang and it was loud but the new one isnt but i like the texture of the new one i think if they combined the sound of the old one and texture of new one that would be the best kill affect everI am a big fan of the kill effects! I love that the rank received a revamp and it looks so much better and cooler now
Just a quick note, nothing in this update is 100% set in stone, we have already received a lot of feedback and we will make improvements/fixes to Survival Games as time passes.
