Hey everyone!

It has been a while already since Pillars of Fortune was added to the server, and it quickly became one of the biggest gamemodes in both Bedrock, and Java versions of the server, but it's still missing something... Achievements! Like most other gamemodes, Pillars of Fortune should also have achievements. They are really fun side task to grind for while playing the game. I already have some ideas for achievements, but feel free to share your ideas below!

Here are some of my suggestions to add as a achievements:

Easy achievements
  • Kill a player by using fall damage
  • Craft something
  • Kill any hostile mob
  • Use an elytra
Medium achievements
  • Win a game with three or more players still alive
  • Kill a player by using a fishing rod
  • Survive a death by using totem of undying
  • Kill 3 or more players during one game
  • Survive a 50 blocks high drop
Hard achievements
  • Equip a full set of any armor
  • Win a game without hitting anyone
  • Kill 5 or more players during one game
  • Win without placing down blocks
  • Kill the warden Okay yes this might be a little bit too hard to do, but I still wanted to put it here :p
Progressive achievements
  • Win your first game
  • Get 100 wins
  • Get 1 000 wins
  • Get 5 000 wins
  • Get 10 000 wins

  • Get your first kill
  • Kill 100 players
  • Kill 1 000 players
  • Kill 5 000 players
  • Kill 10 000 players

Let me know what you think about adding achievements to Pillars of Fortune, and if these achievements sound any good. And also rememeber to suggest your own ideas below!

PS: I don't know how achievements work on the Bedrock version, and if Cubecraft ever even adds achievements to gamemodes that are still in Beta, so that's why I put Java as the prefix for this suggestion. But of course achievements could be implemented once the gamemode is no longer in beta!

I disagree removing 'dying' as an achievement. I think it is funny firstly, but other games have death achievements as well. The whole point of achievements is that you get in a situation that is rather uncommon in the game, specifically because you tried to get in said situation. I love achievements in there as 'kill the warden' as you will never do so UNLESS you try to do so.

Achievements in Pillars of Fortune is something I've brought up in the past as well, in this thread, and has been brought up by others too (with some great suggestions for achievements as well) in this thread. Definitely worth to take a look at for some extra suggestions within this thread.
