Hello welcome to the Cubecraft Community Iceberg.

We are now doing Layer One of the Iceberg. What qualifies in tier one is based on if someone would know said fact if they just woke up and played cubecraft for the very first time today.

My example here is that Cubecraft is a featured server and since Bedrock is more popular that means that a new player would be likely to know that and thus this would deserve to be in tier one of the iceberg.

How to submit a fact for the iceberg?
You can submit a fact for the Iceberg by either leaving a reply in this thread or by starting a conversation or messaging me. You should try to include some detail for your answer though you don't need to write paragraphs, espically not in the early layers like this where everything should be more obvious. You can say as many facts as you want for the iceberg (though I can't promise that they'll all be in it)

Please stick to the facts.
It is obvious that some of the thing on this iceberg will eventually be drama related so if you do submit a drama for the iceberg then please be objective and just stick to what happened so that old Dramas don't get reopened.


When will Tier two start?
Tier two will start next week which is when submissions for Tier one will end. At that point I will post another Thread for Tier two while also posting one with the updated Iceberg and the explanation of all the facts that was added

That probably would be Layer 2. It's the most popular game mode in cubecraft but if someone joined the server for the first time I don't think they'll be able to tell it what started that type of game mode.

That would also probably be something in Layer 2 as well.

Gamemode voting from ranks should be in tier 1. It’s pretty easy to understand how it works as a new player, so it would fit in tier 1.

Eggwars being the most popular game should also be in tier 1, it’s pretty self explanatory.

This shouldn’t go in tier 1, but about Eggwars being the “OG” Bedwars, it actually wasn’t. It is true that Eggwars came before Hypixel Bedwars, with Eggwars being about 1.5 years older than Bedwars. But it wasn’t the original, nobody knows what the original was. A bunch of people played "Bedwars like” gamemodes as far back as 2012, but it's not known who invented it. A bit like Spleef, nobody knows where Spleef came from, it just kind of appeared.

However, Eggwars was the first huge "Bedwars like" and it massively popularised the genre. Before being eventually overshadowed by Bedwars. Maybe all of that could go in like tier 4 or something.

Should it be classified as the first big server to use a bedwars like game then or should we just use that Eggwars came before Hypixel bedwars spefically?

- Each game has its own lobby
- Games have multiple team modes in them (Solos, Teams of 2, etc)
- The server displays its current player count as well as the player counts of the games

- That CubeCraft also exists on the Java Edition (some CubeCraft Bedrock players may not know this, so maybe this could be in a slightly lower tier)

Player reports would probably be separate. /Sr would probably be in layer 2 while fourms report would probably be layer 3. But I'll guess we see what the people think when we get to that layer

I think private conversation would be layer 1 though.

I also think those “achievement points” you get on Cubecraft forums (I forgot what it’s actually called lol) could also be layer 2 because some are known and others are unknown and sometimes earned randomly.

What do you think about hidden rooms around the lobby and the “tweet us” Cubecraft signs?

The tweet us sign should be tier one, no fourms knowledge is needed for them.

Secret rooms as a whole would be tier 2 probably but I think that putting spefic secret rooms would allow them to get lower (for example FFA secret rooms would be lower than say the backrooms)

Fourms achievements as a whole should probably be tier 2 since basically everyone with a forum account would know about them thanks to the faceless achievement but really spefic ones like "Why is the playercount going down?" Would probably be tier 4 to 5

I guess both, but link them together as dual-entries, because they're separate points that are just heavily intertwined. Eh, the specifics can be worked out when it comes to level 4.
