Hello, welcome to the August 2024 edition of Community Highlights! This thread compiles the latest CubeCraft news and updates as well as the highlights of recent community content into just one thread. Let's get started with the main updates!
Bedrock Menu Changes
On August 8th, CubeCraft released changes to several of the menus on the Bedrock network, included new designs for the cosmetic menu, the parkour lobby menu, and the BedWars shop menu. There is now a featured loot tab and a search bar in the cosmetic menu. Additionally, new Discord Wumpus NPCs were added around the main lobby to attract players to join the official Discord server. What do you think of the changes?

Java Map Rotations
Every three months, the Java network goes through map rotations, where some of the current maps are removed and some of the old maps make a return. The latest map rotations took place on August 12th, and a notable change is the return of an elytra/wings map in FFA, called Space. As well as this, two maps were swapped in Lucky Islands and three were swapped in SkyWars. The largest change was made to EggWars, where six maps were rotated out and seven were re-added. In addition to the map rotations, the maps of all gamemodes have been changed so that the player count size is the same. This means that several maps have received new spaces for players or new teams.
You can find the full details of this update in the official news post here!

Team Lucky Islands Returns to Java!
On August 21st, the mystery limited time gamemode that was arriving on CubeCraft Java was announced to be Team Lucky Islands. Many classic maps have returned, including Stonehenge, Science and Oasis. We don't know how long the game will be here for, so if you're a Java player, make sure you go and play it while you can!

What’s Next?
CubeCraft's public update board is a great place to see what is coming next to CubeCraft. You can find projects that the CubeCraft team is working on, categorised by progress, and sometimes you'll even find spoilers! This month, we have seen the addition of a new update, called "Epic Loot + Maps", and "CubeCraft League" has been moved into testing. “Secret Project #1” has unfortunately been given the "blocked" tag, meaning that it is not currently being worked on.
