There are two things wrong with this that I can think of at this moment.
One: This isn't really a suggestion. It's more trying to force CubeCraft to do something.
Two: CubeCraft already is 1.12. If someone says otherwise, they are wrong as I connect to CubeCraft on 1.12.2 perfectly fine.

I don’t have much idea how to code, but I am confident that you can’t just snap your fingers and magically have everything update. It would take months to completely update every single 1.9 game we have, and by that time, 1.13 would be out. During the coding process, it would be pointless to work on any updates for any 1.9 games because after they released, they will just have to be updated to 1.12 which requires even more time.
I think we should just stick with what we have for now and maybe consider updating once 1.13 is out, which we can’t do until it is actually released.
@Aethiria while you can connect with a 1.12 client, you are actually playing in 1.9. The server’s mechanics and pvp style are all 1.9 and any blocks given in 1.12 can’t be used since they don’t exist for the server.

@TheBrownster904 already explained it, but to add on that, I can connect to hypixel with a 1.12 client too, yet they don't have 1.12 pvp do they?
And then the same excuse you used to not update to 1.12 will be used to not update to 1.13, (because "it would take months to update to 1.13, and by that time 1.14 will be out")causing cubecraft to stay in 1.9 forever and die off.

Look, as much as I want 1.12.2, it just won't happen. If they update to 1.12, they would be on it for like a year or less before 1.14 comes out, because almost nothing new is getting added in 1.13 so updating to that would be pointless.
Just read up on 1.13, and it turns out that will be the aquatic update, but my statement doesn't change, updating to 1.12 for such a small amount of time would be pointless.

Yes please.
What the topic is about is to fully update to 1.12.2. As in you cannot connect to 1.9, 1.10, 1.11.2, you know the 1.11.1, etc. That way we can have “better builds” which I think is a good idea.
Not to mention the pvp changes that fix saturation. Also armor piercing.
Updating to a latest version fully would make newer updates more compatible. If not then things might and will be glitchy.
