1.8 Minigames

Why is there only two 1.8 minigames?

I would love to see some new 1.8 games or maybe make some 1.9 minigames into 1.8. It gets boring to just play skywars and eggwars....

Well lets run over all the games that would be compatible

Minerware has minimum PvP so it doesn’t really need to be added
Tower defence has no PvP
All arcade games except barn brawl would be either incompatible due to things like elytras in wing rush or aren’t fighting based
But even barn brawl wouldn’t be relevant since the only PvP in it involves knocking players back
Archer assault isn’t a melee combat based game
Bingo has no PvP
Lobby games have no PvP
Skywars and eggwars are already 1.8
Duels has a 1.8 mode and FFA does too
Freebuild obviously no PvP
Even if parkour was released no PvP
Lucky islands has numerous drops that only work in 1.9+ along with blessed mode requires the luck effect and that was added in 1.9 not to mention the texture pack is for 1.9+


So be completely honest with yourself for a second
Do you really want SG, Blockwars, infection, and/or UHC?

Well it's absolutely idiotic to add a 1.8 non-PvP game, and is a gamble to do a PvP game anyway

Not everything has to be pvp. I am not supporting 1.8, I prefer 1.9, but not everything has to be pvp.

But seriously. Think about it. Not EVERYTHING has to involve pvp. Just because its 1.8 doesn't mean it needs to have pvp. It only is thought as used for pvp because it only has those options. If you don't play 1.8 and/or haven't played it in a long time, then what makes you say this? And why?

They wouldn’t have updated to 1.9 then
If it doesn’t have 1.8 PvP there is no reason to waste time on putting it in 1.8
The only main differences between the 2 are PvP
Just switch versions to play any game
The only reason people would play on 1.8 mode is to play 1.8 PvP
The server isn’t a 1.8 server
It is a 1.9+ server

Yes! We are stuck in 1.8 plz Cubecraft community hear us! I know that many games are not PVP based but add 1.8 ones to its hard to change versions! We have mods for the versions that we play on. Everyone will disaggree because in you all dont like 1.8 pvp system its your choice. @OhhNo I'm in your side

Duels has a 1.8 mode and FFA does too

Duels are only 1.9 without cooldown... There is no blockhit and other things same for FFA. They need to make Pvp Blockwars Infection and Survival Games 1.8.

Block hitting was removed in 1.8, servers decided to un-fix a glitch that was never intended to be in the game
