1.8 pvp remove bow based kits?

I've started playing the 1.8 pvp section today have a simple suggestion which is to remove the archer based pvp games from the 1.8 section as I think most people are going to want to play 1.8 for the melee since that's actually different to 1.9

This is just my opinion but it's no different to the 1.9 bow kits so I think it just makes a little sense :P

Bow's are different in 1.8 too just a reminder! In 1.9 bows when fired have an added gravity when you jump. *for example if you jump and shoot in 1.9 the arrow will shoot more downwards whereas in 1.8 it will still carry that same curve alike to the arrow fired when the player is standing still.

Okay this might be completely wrong, but the 1.8 kits are really just 1.9 with no cooldown on swords. (An NBT tag I believe)
So it has the 1.8 melee without the cooldown, but the rest should all just be 1.9

Nice way of putting it I didn't really know how to tell Gainfullterror but you did it just amazingly THANKS. It's about 1.8 bow and whether it should be removed.

The bow is part of PvP. Player v player involves using any available weapons. Don't think it should be removed.

I do like this idea but to remove it completely.....
I suggest that your chance of having a bow kit decreases.

In order to get to the 1.8 duel kits, stated in the thread itself, you must join in 1.9 to go over to the PVP lobby and play with 1.8 kits.
So it isn't 1.8, but 1.9 without attack cool downs.

So...

You can't access the 1.8 duels with a 1.8 client.
Which means, you play on 1.9+ to get there and actually play the 1.8 duels.
So it's version 1.9, but has no cool downs on the attacks. Does that make enough sense?

I would not agree, I love archery myself.
