I believe that this has been suggested before, and I supported it. I love this idea, it makes complete sense on why it should be added. I actually think that this would be more popular than 1.9 duels because many people prefer 1.8. This should be implemented as soon as possible.

I don really play 1.8 pvp anymore. I learned myself a couple of years ago the new way to pvp and I really prefer it. But I know there are a lot of players that don’t like 1.9 pvp. So yea they definitely deserve a duels.

They said that about the FFA but then they added it. Literally no one plays 1v1 in CubeCraft for a reason, currently at the time of writing, of the 70 players in PVP, 68 are FFA. Point is 1v1 is dead on CubeCraft. A statistics released by Hypixel, which has all games from 1.8 - 1.14, it showed that 52% played 1.8 while 48% played from 1.9 - 1.14, in CubeCraft, 1.9+ still has more players due to the number of games, one has three games, the other has all games yet those three games are pulling 400 players and 1.9 is at 600 players (at the time of writing).

Personally I would love to have this since I really like the pvp mechanics of the 1.8 version.
