I think we should add a command (/pmute <username>) to mute an annoying guy from just your own chat. So if you do this command and target it at that person, you no longer receive any sort of messages from that player. This is so that you can avoid getting trash talked.

Something like (/ignore) I assume. That has been suggested and I would really like that however, they should not be able to ignore staff members - in case we're trying to talk to them about rules etc.

Yeah is it possible to do that only to non-staff members?

I do believe there is a permission able to be given to certain players that will exempt them from being ignored. And if this applies to CubeCraft, this could work quite well and very possibly lower down the problems in chat.

I really like this. Make sure your team mate couldn't do inside a team egg wars probably. I like talking to the people who hackusate me and trash talk me. Its fun.
Also useful for the players who don't like it.

I would like to see this implemented even though I've never had any issues from it. Allowing players to mute each other for using /msg or /tell can be helpful to some and no harm in adding.

It wouldn't work, people would be able to bypass other peoples warnings by just saying "Oh yeah I muted him"

But if it was only messaging then you wouldn't be able to mute someone for warning you about teaming in solo eggwars for example. Using the command you shouldn't be able to mute global/team chat.

Muting people in fmsg/tell would be great. Also useful for staff, because I assume that there is always an annoying kid that spams them with hi.

if (hasPermissions("ignore.exempt")) {
p.sendMessage(ChatColor.RED + "Cannot use this to that target")

}else{
//do the stuff, I am too lazy to code it from a phone

/Ignore would be wonderful to have but I rather think that you Can take away only Private Messages with the command /ignore

I would do it only for /msg cuz we do need to warn people about rules such as swearing etc. Plus it would stop private messaging spam.
