Hello everyone, @jamesthesignificant here. I LOVE Survival Games, and find it extremely fun, but it is really underrated and not a commonly-played game on Cubecraft. As an idea to increase the player-count, there should be a massive update adding loads of stuff.

New and bigger maps- There is very few new maps for SG added recently. There is loads of possibility, though: a cave with giant fossils, an Egyptian-style pyramid map, of even an alien U.F.O! I feel that there should also be bigger maps, leading to more exploration and hiding spots.

World border shrinking slower- The world border should be a deathmatch-esque feature, instead of being just an asset of Survival Games. It shrinks way too fast, so fast that many corners of the map are left undiscovered.

Update the kits- Some new kit ideas:
Warper: 1 Ender Pearl
Exploder: 2 TNT Blocks
Burner: Flint 'n Steel

Shields- It would be great if they added shields to SG, or at least more common shields, because they are vital for PVP. They could come with low durability, to make it so they are not really overpowered. This could link with the new kit ideas, as a kit with a low durability shield would be cool.

TO4- I would like it if they added a mode with teams of 4, because it's nice to play and cooperate with other players more.

I would like newer maps and slower world borders, but shields would really take the fun away of Minecraft bedrock pvp and even if they had low durability, I don't think they would fit well. The kits are good besides the Ender pearl one as that's basically a free life. And to4 would be....interesting. I would try it but it wouldn't be well favoured in the community

I totally disagree :disagree: with this because it will lead to unnecessarily longer games because campers would have more places to hide and overall bigger map = harder to find enemies.

Same situation here :disagree:, it would make games unnecessarily longer and make it easier to run away (the point of the game is to fight, not to run away).

Unsure :unsure: because it would help players escape combat, but a teleport is not the end of the world, it could be used for chasing runners and to get to the location with large amounts of chests faster.
Exploder: 2 TNT Blocks
Burner: Flint 'n Steel
Unsure :unsure: because this kit seems useless, as the sword would be much more useful in a fight than 2 tnt.

Bigger maps - no, size is good atm
World Border Slower - no, the speed depends on how many players are left
The kits are okayish, but "Burner" and "Exploder" need to be changed to more fitting names
Shields - Would ruin the gamemode on the spot, unless it has a very low durability (3-5), so you can only use it tactically. Also needs low chest spawning chance or only in supply drop
To4 - The playercount does not support that

World border shrinking slower: This would make games unnecessarily longer, as several people argue in this thread.

Updating the kits: I like those kits, though the ender pearl one may be a bit, overpowered? You could just skip the first fight.

Shields: Although they would come with low durability, I think they would turn a bit to OP and players would strongly argue to this change due to the advantage they present.

TO4: It's okay, I wouldn't mind having more players in a Huger Games team. Unfortunately, as Nightmare (QA) said, the player count wouldn't allow it.
To4 - The playercount does not support that

Ok, first of all, all of the ideas you have included in this post are great, but there are a few tweaks or refinements that I believe should be made.

Your new map ideas are great, all of them are filled with creativity and originality, however I do have some concerns with the idea of making the maps larger and potentially including hiding spots. I feel that the majority of CubeCraft players enjoy relatively fast-paced games, that involve more action and keep you on the edge of your seat at all times. This also becomes a problem if Slower World Border Shrinking was implemented, and I feel that the current shrink timing adds to the spontaneity of Survival Games.

Updated Kits:
I definitely think that more kits should be added, but the ones you have suggested seem a bit unbalanced. I have expanded on this below.
Warper: I think this is a interesting idea, however it would be too overpowered, essentially giving players another life. I would like to propose an alternative to this idea.

Dasher (Updated Warper): This kit would provide the player with ~3 'Dash Orbs' represented by End Crystals in the players inventory, and would give the player Swiftness 2 (II) for a short amount of time with a ~15 second cooldown between uses.

Leaper (Alternative Updated Warper): Provides the player with 1 'Leap Feather'.

Exploder: What you have suggested currently seems pretty good, I think the kits name should be changed to 'Demolitionist', and potentially also give the player a piece of armour enchanted with Blast Protection 4.

Burner: I think this simply shouldn't be added, because flint and steel is already relatively ineffective, especially since CubeCraft has modified the way players catch on fire exclusively to when players have prolonged exposure (2-3 ticks) to fire.

Shields: Unlike others who have commented on this post, I don't think that shields would ruin PvP. I do think that they should be a rare item, mainly found in supply drops with 3-5 durability, but they would also add another layer to PvP, encouraging players to stop discarding axes so often and instead use them to potentially fight against and disable shields.

Teams of 4: I definitely agree that cooperating with other players is nice, however it would be frustrating when you are matched up with beginner players, and Teams of 4 would rely heavily on cooperation, a particularly weak area in most CubeCraft teammates 😅. Additionally, as @Nightmare pointed out, "Teams of 4: The current player count of Survival Games doesn't support Teams of 4."

Needs bigger maps, the current map sizes aren't big enough enough for such a dramatic border shrink. So the player cant even explore the entire map let alone half in one round.
Some maps are too open which makes them seem smaller than they really are.

So SG needs a new balance to get the average game length a bit longer like 8 Minutes without the majourity of the time being looking for other players (which will likely be).

The average game is get out of mid, loot a few chests, kill one player and the border is already shrinking, forcing everyone to mid while there is still 6 of us remaining.

If you decide to make the maps wayyy (>2* diameter) larger, you could balance that by maybe increasing the player count per game to something like 24 or 30 (solo) to bring it more life per game.
