You have Mods, then you go to Senior Mod.
You have Admin, then you go to CEO.
For a Helper, you would get to Mod eventually.
What does Builder have? Nothing, just Builder.
What does
Dev have? Dev.
Do you start to see the pattern?

Builder and Dev don't have a "rank up."
This is a minor thing, but honestly they are staff members too, shouldn't they have at least a rank above to set more motivation?
Don't get me wrong, all staff members on Cubecraft are very motivated and work hard.
But something simple to add would be like
Architect, the next stage of Builder.
Same with
Senior Dev, the next stage of Dev.
It kind of bugs me, a little.
So who to appoint or promote?

*Note* These are just examples, please don't get offended.

Architect
Alex_de_Grote

If you don't know, Alex_de_Grote is head builder. He is also one of the builders to be on the server the longest. A promotion like this would fit.
Senior Dev
CrazymanJR

CrazymanJR is in charge of Sentinel bans and punishments and is very active, especially on Discord.
If he weren't an Admin, he would be a Senior Dev.

Just a little something to add.
That is all.

I highly doubt that that's how things work.

I've seen a staff member write something like this before and I'll just say the same thing in my words: So long the management knows who does what, then there's no need to "classify" them even more. For example, the Build Team doesn't consist of too many members so they know pretty much what everyone is doing there but if it were to be a build team that consists of 20 people for example, then it might get to the point where it would be a good idea to classify them a little bit more to not have to keep in mind what every single person is doing.

I'm alright with what they have right now and I don't think that that should be changed.

No, not all the time.
Most of the staff work hard because they enjoy their job and want to help Cube, and not to get a promotion at the end of the day.
Some staff do work hard only to get the higher tier tag, I'm pretty sure, but most are here because they actually like working here.

Or I hope most of them are like that.

I'm pretty sure dev's (builder too?) get paid so I don't think they need a rankup.
Yeah, they do.

But, I get what @CamBam300 means. And I agree with him. If a dev is doing an amazing job, he should get rewarded.

Payments aren't everything, everybody likes recogition for their hard work.

tl;dr Builder and Developer aren't volunteer positions. You get paid. It's a job.

Payments aren't everything

With money, you can buy a house.
With money, you can buy a car.
With money, you can buy food.
With money, you can pay Internet, water, electricity, etc.
With money, you can buy (video)games to play with (or without) friends.
everybody like recogition for their hard work.
As a Developer, you get paid monthly. Isn't that enough?
As a builder, you get around $100 per build (A builder told me this long ago, might have changed), again, isn't that enough?

As said above by me, Developers do have different "ranks" but are purely internal (a.k.a. who does what). Maybe Jr Game Developer wins a little bit less money than the rest of them, though.

If a dev is doing an amazing job, he should get rewarded.
$$$ + Isn't amazing that THOUSANDS of players daily play your minigame, use your friends system or post images about the ban message of your anticheat on #media on CubeCraft's Discord?

Sigh. I was just saying my opinion...

Does this really matter? They will still do the same things on the server, website and discord.

First off, I highly doubt that they promote staff like this. Builders and Devs get paid, giving them a new rank to "motivate" them is quite pointless, because they will keep doing the same job on the server.

You have Mods, then you go to Senior Mod.
Correct, if said moderator wants that.

You have Admin, then you go to CEO.
Not true. There's only one CEO and an admin won't be promoted to that since there's no reason to. (admins already get paid)

For a Helper, you would get to Mod eventually.
Correct.

And?
Both of these are paid positions. They are being paid as their "motivation".

Not necessary. They all do the same work (building & coding).

Alex_de_Grote

I'm 99% sure that @Efcluke94 is the head builder & recruitment leader. He's been on the forums for waaay longer than Alex has.

Senior Dev
CrazymanJR

CrazymanJR is in charge of Sentinel bans and punishments and is very active, especially on Discord.
If he weren't an Admin, he would be a Senior Dev.
Wait, so because of him being active, which he is obligated to do given his role, he needs a senior dev tag?
He hasn't been here for very long, and I surely don't think he needs a pointless senior tag for doing his job.

(Btw, check your facts next time. It makes your suggestion add up)

I'm pretty sure you never become an admin straight away. You become helper first, then mod, then sr mod, then admin, or idk how exactly it works. Therefore a helper has a lot to aim for and your idea of equalizing doesn't really make sense...

As of right now, being Admins means you work at the office. Meaning, you get Admin straight away (The only exception is @Camezonda , who got hired as Product Manager while being SrMod, at got promoted to Admin)

We aren't changing our ranks to glorify any positions by adding more ranks. I've been Admin for around 2 years as our build team leader, I've never thought you know what, I need to be CEO. I would not want that job lol, way too much stress and people wanting to call me 24/7.

Thanks for the suggestion but am in agreement with everyone else.
