Web Add ''edit'' button on your own profile.

Hello there!
I know this already has been suggested a lot. And it basically got also some good opinions on other threads. But never really got added. So here I am, basically add a ''edit'' button on your own profile. Because now you just have to delete the post. And write it down again.

The edit button was removed due to people swearing in their status and quickly editing it out before a staff member noticed it. I think it was more than fair of the staff team to remove the option and I feel like it should say that way

I don't really understand this, as the same would go for 'normal' posts on threads, while you do allow people to edit those posts. Staff members wouldn't lose track of the swearing as long as you'd add some kind of edit log to the profile posts.

There is the thing Einstein, at the moment I think that there's not a XenForo add-on that allow staff members to check history out. So we'll need to wait for it.

Edit: I agree with the thread, but, as I said to WinterSheep, at the moment I do think they can't add this into forums since there isn't any add-on for this.

Here's the thing, "Einstein". They can just make an addon themselves if they care about the logging. Hell, it doesnt even need to be an addon. XenForo is source available so they can just throw in whatever they like, whereever they like.

Hell yeah, they can create one themselves if they want. But apparently it seems to be complicated since they haven't added it yet.

How could you assume that? It might not have come to their attention yet, or it might not be a real priority meaning that other, more important things take precedence over the addition edit logs.

Just record a video of the offending message, including a reload of the webpage, then report.

this or we can have a edit history made. because there is no reason why profile posts would be any bigger of an issue then normal posts because those can be edited.
