Bedrock add fishing rods

Snowballs and eggs exist. Yeah fishing rods could be pretty cool but like, it's pointless for mobiles cuz well, there are mobile players out there that plays CubeCraft bedrock. They can't use fishing rods in mid fight cuz they had to hold to use them or click the fish button. It would be a total mess for mobile players and it's pretty unnecessary since there's snowballs and eggs.

I totally disagree as it would be unfair for many players who play from their mobile phone or from their console. It's much easier to start a combo using the fishing rod if you are playing on pc, but it's really hard to do it on your console or your phone, and even more to counter it against a pc player.

Thats why challenge queue exist, if im on pc, im suposed to get matched with pc people

do you really really really think that the challenge queue or device matchmaking system ever works properly?

Challenge queue doesn't match you always with people that are using the same input device as you, it just prioritises matchmaking with people with the same input device. But that doesn't mean you can't be put into games many times with console or even mobile players.

fishing rods don't work the same way they do on java in bedrock. rod pvp just isn't possible on bedrock so unless your using the fishing rod to drag people into the void it just doesn't work sorry.

I've tried to play build uhc on Pvp practice servers, and fishing rod work to start combos, it is slower than java, but it works anyway



Also the advantages of the fishing rods is that they last longer than snowballs or eggs

its basiaclly the same idea as snowballs anyway. And im also sick of servers degrading the overall play experience for the sake of mobile players. Thats what device based matchmaking is for. Mobile and PC will NEVER be on the same level, just stop trying.

The device matchmaking system never works as attended as they purposely made it inaccurate for "faster matchmaking". Also what does device matchmaking system had to do with adding fishing rods in CubeCraft?

Also fishing rods sounds awful for PvP on bedrock, you don't normally use fishing rods in PvP on bedrock. I mean sure you're a windows 10 edition player but mobile players exist and we deserve to have a fair gameplay. Adding fishing rods would made CubeCraft super unfair as mobile players cannot use em and the device matchmaking system is purposely made to be inaccurate. It gets even worse because the 1.17 update kinda broke the hold to use or instant equip feature. Now if you hold, the fishing hook would only exist for 0.3 seconds. That means you gotta time your hold or even worse, you had to tap the use button on top of the inventory. It gets even worse there because if you missed, you need to click it again and then repeat the stuff. It's just messed up

yeah but it's going to be a pain dude. It's super hard. It's still technically is possible but it's going to be a pain. It's going to be awful for PvP and i rather just bowspam than ever using fishing rods as my extra kb weapon

Most mobile players don't know how to use it because it's super hard due to the limitations that playing on your phone have. It wouldn't be fair for mobile players definitely, nor for console players.
