I had a thought the other day "What would make Eggwars better" and as you can see by the title killstreaks are my solution to the question. You will probably at this point be thinking "What's the point" and I don't blame you because even when I first thought of it, it sounded stupid but I'll explain why it may benefit Eggwars and what the so called 'killstreaks' will be.
How they would work:
NOTE: First of all I think it would be better to have a different set of killstreaks per class, by this I mean when you pick your class that class will come with a set of killstreaks bound to the class.
Ok so when you get a kill your EXP bar will go up by 1 level. When it reaches a certain level you will earn a perk or reward that you can use like money (iron, gold, diamond), potion effects and items. If you die though then your EXP bar will go back to 0 and you will have to try and earn your items and potion effects again (all potion effects will be lost on death).
Why they would benefit Eggwars:
I think that it would benefit Eggwars because it would stop players rushing your base with no armour and would also make it so that players would think more about just running around in the middle for ages with a pickaxe just waiting to get in your way.
Also I think that it would make players fight more and not just stay at these island the whole game just stacking up diamonds.
Killstreaks for per kit (ideas):
NOTE: Rewards would be doubled or halfed depending on the game difficulty.
Egg shell
3 kills - 10 glowstone
5 kills - 32 glass
7 kills - 5 obsidian
Shell cracker
3 kills - iron pickaxe (efficiency 1)
6 kills - diamond pickaxe (efficiency 1)
10 kills - haste 2 (permanent until you die)
Healer
4 kills - 2 golden apples
7 kills - 8 golden apples
11 kills - 1 God Apple
These are just some examples and I'm sure many of you guys could come up with better ideas for killstreaks then me ;)
