Fantastic suggestion! I have already installed a forum alert application for Google Chrome but in my opininon it isn't enough because the notification is only visual.
I hope this will be added!

I'm back with a new suggestion.
And today I gonna update an old suggestion that was made by me.

So, I suggested in that old thread to add an alert notification that means that you get a sign that says 'you have a new alert'
And now that is added but I want an upgrade to that.
I'll tell a bit more about it.

When you get an alert you don't hear it right?
So why don't you add a sound to it?

Most of the time I'm on the forum but when I'm on the server and then I don't give attention to my second screen.
And you don't watch the forum for about 15 - 30 minutes. And you have a couple alerts. But you didn't know you had some.
So maybe it would be a good upgrade to add a sound to the alert notification?
Everyone has a phone and when you have installed some apps you turn your notifications on for it. And when you get a message from that app your phone makes a noice or is starting to vibrate.
I would like to see this on the website. What do you think about this?
