Allowed Mod Thread

Make a sub section dedicated to the allowed mods thread so it makes it much easier to view and won't get buried under all the new recent threads.

You can add it anywhere in the 'Newsboard' section so it is easy to access and you can access it at any time!
This will reduce the confusion that happens on the forums and the constant threads asking which mods are allowed or not.

Best place to put it, in my opinion, would be under "Official rules", since they mention mods that are disallowed aswell as the allowed mods.

If they do that then the allowed mods thread will still be considered "Hidden" and not in plain sight.
I don't see Mods & Rules as one thing but as 2 separate different things.

I think it would be a good idea to replace it to a better part of the forums as the thread is easier to find then. I agree with @telegamer, "Official Rules" would be the best place to put it, in my opinion.

You misunderstood me.

I was suggesting that they add the "Allowed Mods" thread in the 'Newsboard' section so it is easier to view and accessible to all.

P.S The word "Mod(s)" that I use in this thread is short for 'Modification' not moderator

I don't see it as something really that necessary. I mean when you think about it, "What are the mods that are allowed on this server," you would usually think about rules. I mean if you really cared about what mods are allowed and what aren't, you won't want to risk getting banned. So you look in Official Rules. Boom, first thing (basically).

Well some players like myself would like to know what are some of the allowed mods you can use on the server. I found many useful mods from the allowed mods thread (on other servers) which have changed my minecraft experience.
Myself I don't want to be punished for something I didn't know about, which is why I want to make sure whatever mod I use is allowed cause CC is my favorite server and I don't want to be banned from it.
The Official rules thread doesn't specify what mods are allowed or not which is why I want CC to make a thread talking about the allowed mods.

I don't think that the allowed mods thread needs it's own 'stickied section', so to speak, like how the rules are. For me, if I'm looking for something like that, I would go looking for the rules first to see if there's a link to a thread or a section in the rules that informs me of allowed/disallowed mods. Also, on most forums, there's a search function where a player can look up something like "allowed mods" or something to find the thread or possibly another thread that has a link to the thread you are looking for.

Though, I can see how it could help some newer players or ones that just want to know if something is allowed or not.

Also, @AboodPlayz, many understand that you want your thread seen, but you shouldn't "bump" it as the post can be considered 'useless' and could get you a forums warning. If people see the thread and want to make a comment then they will.

Yes! Do this! It will be so much easier to find the allowed mods. Sometimes i just want to see which mods were actually allowed and it's kinda not that easy to find.
