This is extremely hard to explain fully, since the only members who know the detailed reasons; are management and developers (It will stay like that). I'll explain it briefly in a few bullet points which may give you more clarity on the SG map creation process:

A few reasons:
- A map isn't released by a single builder. It requires multiple people working together as a team to push a map out for release to our network.
- The build team work on multiple projects at once (We currently have 20+ gamemodes)
- A single SG map can take a builder 4-8 weeks
- Map configuration! Majority of community members will have no idea what map configuration is. In simple terms, a combination of development and specific building methods will allow games to work. Some games have more complex systems than others.
