I don't think this is a good idea; someone may need to log off for a good reason. However, if they do it more than once, please record it and post it on the "report a player" section.

However, Some people may not have the knowledge of recording and I respect you saying that people may have a reason to log off at a specific time. But you also need to realize they may use that as an excuse. For Example, I used an excuse saying my mom needed me which was untrue and when i logged back on, the players did not believe me. Overall, I believe that any excuse is unethical and though there is a rule not to teleport or pvp log, I firmly beleieve there should be a Anti-PvP Logging plugin to be put into affect.

You would never know if you do not know the person in real life. I agree with your opinion, but lately many people on the server get scared of other players and will log off which is unfair to the other players.

That is true, but when someone sees that, they should take action. I know that not everyone knows how to record.

How about this: Someone can log off of the game, but if they come back on within before 10 minutes is up, and they log off again, the server automatically bans them life if someone goes on a ridiculous far plot on creative. That way, both mine, and your opinions are adequately delivered.

No. This would get people not knowing about this banned. It's much better to just make them die if they combat-log.

I can't see any reasons that would make it okay to combat-log. And someone could simply use the 10-minute thing to get away with combat-logging.

Well I don't see no other way to do this.

As we just discussed, they should just get a combat-log plugin.
Almost all anti logging plugins are very buggy- they simply won't work. Then, Halo and Rubik would have to code it; on top of all the other stuff they have to code? It would take a VERY long time before something could get put it. Again, just report it if you see it. It's not like they can code everything.

All combat-log plugins that I have seen on serious pvp servers have worked just fine. They wouldn't need to code it as they could take an existing plugin.

And I am not sure whether you know anything about coding or not, but making something like this is really easy.

I never said it was hard. They could probably code this. When I said "they can't code everything", I didn't mean they didn't have the ability to do it, rather that they can't code everything anyone says.

Please, give me an example of those "serious pvp-servers" you were talking about; I want to test it for myself.

I don't think I am allowed to advertise for other servers here. What do you suggest?
