Escalated Assassination needs an update! ⚔️

Hello everyone, today I will be suggestion a lot of cool and exciting stuff for a future Assassination update. I believe that Assassination deserves an update since it's an amazing game and an update will probably attract more people to the game. In this thread I will mention my own ideas and suggestions but I will also include previous suggestions made by community members. I understand that Assassins isn't the biggest game, but I truly believe that an awesome update will increase the playercount on Assassination. Let's get started!

Economy

On Assassination we've had the same economy for years, but this can easily be changed. I suggest to completely revamp the economy to bring a new experience to the game.

COINS
We currently have 3 different coins which are;

Dark Coin
- Worth: 1
Gold Coin
- Worth: 5
Platinum Coin
- Worth: 10

I suggest to add a new one;

Emerald Coin
- Worth: 50

MAP SHOPS
Currently there are a few shops where you can buy items to give you a better chance at killing your enemies.
I'm suggesting a new shop and some new items for you to buy!

In my opinion Assassination really needs a new map. The current maps have become slightly boring as everybody knows all spawn locations etc. We've been playing on the same 2 maps for years now, and it's time to add some new ones.

I'm really a fan of the map built by @Siftenly, they did a really good job and this map should most definitely get added into the game!

KILL EFFECTS
In my opinion kill effects would be amazing, but there should be an option for people to turn these off as it could cause lag.
(You can buy these by using network points in the lobby)

Same command as on FFA, would love to have it on Assassination as well!

- 8% chance to inflict 50% more damage when you have less than 5 hearts
- 10% chance to inflict 50% more damage when you have less than 5 hearts

Hello!
First of all I like some of your suggestions but, something about the Potion Shop - Invis needs to get expensiver it costs right now 100 coins which is like minimum 3 chests to open and you got it already. And if you use the invis in the right way trust me you can get diamond kill in seconds or even full diamond by just gathering coins.
Potion Shop - instant damage in the past few months diamonds started to use instant damage it basically is the most overpowerd item in-game. If I'm fighting a diamond and I don't gapple correctly at 6hp max, then the opponent will probably throw the instant damage correctly on 3/4hp and then I'm basically dead. And as I mentioned invis people use this so much. And you don't expect it. And as you also mentioned in you're suggestion you said iron sword with sharpness 1 if people use this combination with instant damage then the diamond fight will be ended under 20/30 seconds as it will be just so overpowerd with the instant damage. So imo either way make this instant damage potion expensiver or just reduce the vanilla damage it does example: from 3/4hp --> 2hp.
Adrenaline Boost - sounds just overall cool new idea I like it. Also the same for Aggressive Boost.
Kill-Streaks - do you mean bounties then?
Time Alive - question about it what if people use multiple alts what then? They will get really stacked.
/settime - sounds good as you can change it whenever you want.
Selling Items - really good one, I've seen it multiple times suggested by community members too. Few of my suggestions:
~ Bounty-Farming as you might know the limit to where you can bounty farm is I belive 144 coins each time you deliver a bounty head to the bounty hunter. That should be much increased from 144 --> . And also make the timer lower now it's 3:00min to get you're bounty killed. And also me just the amount of times I get a diamond as a bounty is really huge. And then you just have to wait really long or you can also leave the map. This should get changed to 1:30min in my opinion.
Coins - I also think as for coins they should again get a boost they did that few months ago, they changed it to 25% which in my opnion was great, but then after some time it again got so tired to farm 2800 just full diamond with diamond sword. Imo this should get buffed to 25% --> 35%. Make it a percentage where the coins in chests will be 40-50.

Overall I like the other ideas u mentioned.

Pets were what made colony control ruined for me, they weren’t balanced and I don’t think they should be added to assassinations. Other then that, looks great!

Hai, I really appreciate the time you took to post this feedback!

Kill-streaks are just the amount of kills you make without dying, so when you kill 10 people without dying you would receive 2 Emerald Coins.

Also, CubeCraft does not allow you to gain advantages in-game by using an altern account which means getting rich fast by using multiple accounts is against the rules and if you get caught doing so it will definitely result in a punishment.

I agree with almost all of this, and I agree assassination needs an update in general, it's been so long.

First of all I just really want it on 1.8, not sure how many people would play but if it becomes popular, perhaps it could work.

New maps would be amazing, we have only have 2 and variety would be very nice.

However, I would say that, regarding the coins on killstreaks and time alive, I think as it would be, I feel like it would largely benefit already geared up players, with iron or diamond armour, which is not very useful as they already have a lot of money, and also I think it should be more helpful to players who have just spawned. I suggest changing this to a logarithmic result, for example you get coins at 3 kills, then 5, then 10, then 20, then 50 etc. so it benefits newer players more (this also applies to time spent playing).

Also I would say pets would be a bit overpowered, and would make the game less pvp-based, as newer players would be killed by the pets while the pet owner wouldn't be doing anything, or taking any damage.

I would not like to see the aggressive perk added, as it seems more luck than skill, and this is supposed to be a relatively skill based game.

I would like to see invis price dramatically increased or the item removed as it is way too overpowered as it is, especially when people have good swords. Also I feel like harming potions should be removed, because, as they bypass armour, they can easily kill people will diamond armour.

Here's my opinions:
I like the new shop items, but I think that prot 2 diamond would be way too overpowered. Considering getting full diamond is as hard as it is, being a full prot 2 diamond would be very overpowering and easy against other players.

The emerald coin would be very useful however it should be a very very rare thing/only obtainable by converting your coins into higher values.

The kill streaks in my opinion is a great idea and would reward you for all of your extra effort instead of just running around looting.

Having kill effects would be very very cool. It would also maybe be nice if they started off more "dilute" (less, greyed-out particles) and if you double or triple or multi kill within in a curtain amount of time they will become stronger kill effects. e.g. winning a 1v2, the second kill effect would be stronger and louder. I think having them unlockable from cubelets could also be a good idea? However I don't play Java much so this may be a terrible idea

As much as a /settime command would be cool, I think it could be easily spammed. Maybe have a system in place which makes it so by doing that it is almost like a vote. E.g. if 2 people do /settime day and one person does /settime night. Since there are more people wanting it to be day time, it would stay day. Also limiting the amount of requests would be a good idea to prevent one oby in the game from flicking the lights on and off.

I think having a brand new map would be awesome! Maybe having two sets of progress, one for each map. It could allow for different play styles or just a restart although again, I don't play much Java or assassins in general so this may also be a bad idea. It would be cool having something else though.

As for the boosts, as much as I think its a good idea, there are way to many different ones in my opinion. The difference between a few percent would be so so tiny. maybe just have a 5,10,15 percent boost options. In my mind it would also be cool to only be able to have one type of boost at a time. Meaning you have to pick between adrenalin and aggressive boosts for a different playstyle.

Nice ideas this could make assassins even cooler.

Ability to sell used items to specific shops. For example sell all of your leather armour to the armour shop.

The amount of money you get depends on how damaged the item is!

New Maps

In my opinion Assassination really needs a new map. The current maps have become slightly boring as everybody knows all spawn locations etc. We've been playing on the same 2 maps for years now, and it's time to add some new ones.

I'm really a fan of the map built by @Siftenly, they did a really good job and this map should most definitely get added into the game!

Cosmetics

I would love to see some more cosmetics in the game. I came up with some exciting ideas, so I'll just list them here!

KILL EFFECTS
In my opinion kill effects would be amazing, but there should be an option for people to turn these off as it could cause lag.
(You can buy these by using network points in the lobby)

SET TIME
Same command as on FFA, would love to have it on Assassination as well!

I think assi deserves an update but this is way to much. This would ruin assi.

I just think it's funny how a guy who's not even playing the game mode himself wants to change the game mode so badly with so many updates and additions. You don't know what the game needs and you don't know what's ruining the game atm. Axyy, you don't play Assassinations so I think you should be quiet and let some of the real Assassination players do the suggestion. I did a suggestion that no one answered but ofc when you're a moderator CubeCraft will take it more seriously.

I find it rather funny that you're assuming I don't play Assassination, while I do on a regular basis. Not as often anymore, but that's mainly because of other stuff I need to do on CubeCraft. Anyways, I don't know why you're claiming that I want to change the game so badly with many additions and updates. Yes, I would love to see many additions and updates, who doesn't? I just want to encourage everyone to start playing Assassantion and make an attempt to increase the player base.

I tried suggesting some new and fun ideas that could make Assassins more fun in my eyes and I also included some amazing community suggestions. I even included YOUR suggestion thread so I do not understand how you feel so attacked by this. These are suggestions only and even though it did get some good attention from the community it still doesn't mean it's getting implemented.

Again I do play Assassinations on a regular basis so stop telling me I don't. You have no right to tell someone to be quiet because this is the forums and everyone is completely free to suggest whatever they want as long as they follow the rules. It doesn't matter how often you play a game, you can still share your thoughts to the community, there is literally nothing wrong with that.

So Tobias, I have no idea why you are giving me a early thank you for ruining the game while this is literally a suggestion thread and not official at all.

Anyways, this is definitely not the point of this thread. I would rather get some actual feedback about the suggestion thread than you telling me I should be quiet.

Even though I don't really play assassinations a lot, I may start doing so if there was an update :D. I like most of the things but with some slight changes:
- Make the protection of the enchanted Diamond set Protection 1, I just feel like protection 2 is a lot for this game.
- I love the idea of a Pet Shop, however that would probably require another shop building for that which need reworking the maps.
- Not sure how well the rewarding for time alive woudl work as people could camp.

Overall great suggestion! Really hope we get an update soon, this would for sure make me and a lot of other players play assassinations a lot more. <3

Ok, I really love the game because of how unique it is, and its sad to see that it has gone so long without a major update, and i think based on the number of likes and positive feedback people agree with me so im going to Escalate this thread

I do not agree with this. On early mornings it will be very easy to farm this and 700 coins is just way too OP for just 4 hours. If you go to an empty map and just derp around for a few hours, it'll be very easy to get yourself geared up with iron or diamond already. I do not feel like we should only make this go quicker.

I do think the other ideas might be good. Not sure about the pets, I think they might be too overpowered especially for diamond players.

And like Critly said, the invisibilty potion needs to be more expensive.

EDIT: I should really play this game again.. It has been a very long time xD
