I've recently seen that on the assassins game, when the proxy resets, you lose all your items, which where I'm at is restarts at eleven PM. Also it's into a swing of doing things that it used to a while back, like now notifying you when you're in pvp and to wait 10 seconds, I don't know if the points are new though. It might be because of 1.8, but whenever I get a kill it says "+1 point". This gave me an idea. Of you use my idea, initiate it when it's ready after the proxy restart. I know people say it clears items after you log off, this is false, it's when the proxy restarts. So, instead of item wiping on reset, I got an idea, maybe we can use the point system as a way to keep your stuff, for example, maybe every 35 points you get, you receive 1 hour more than usual to keep you stuff, either that or you just fix the bug.


Rip old map--the old assassination map was the original right? Maybe you his can.... Drumroll..... REVIVE IT!!! By this I mean to keep both maps, but revamp the old one a little, fix the traps and stuff, fill in the temple walls and.... basically revamp the temple... But I'm sure people miss the old map though so it's be nice to see it again. If you were to add it, you could call it "desert village" I personally think that this would be a nice idea. Also you guys could discuss if you want to keep inventory in map transition or have separate inventories on sperate maps. Anyways,that's all I have to say, please consider this, as always! ;D

Also with the points, 35-50 for an hour would drive people to kill, especially full diamonds/irons, instead of shop stalling, (also making full diamonds fight because they won't sit in the shop all day waiting on one another) which would bring out the "assassin" theme more. :)

2 maps is far better than 1. Plus the old map was much simpler and easier to navigate. I'd like to see the old map return some time in the future.
@OrangeGrapeEater Is it actually a bug that you lose your items, or is this supposed to happen? I don't feel like grinding a chest for 50 minutes knowing that i can't keep the items if i wanna go to sleep or stop playing for a few hours..

Assassinations works like Kit-PvP now, being you are meant to loose your items when you log out. If this is false, I will look into it.

By this I mean to keep both maps

I went over this with @Efcluke94 in a Skype call. We agreed that if we had both maps, the new map would suffer as it's a big map and will hardly have any players due to this; players will be running around and seeing no players. I think you just need to get used to the new map, it's a change for me too.

I'll see if I can do something so you can get more hours with your items after logging out by doing voting or performing another action. :)

I have talked to many people on assassins and people prefer the old map as it was original and smaller. Since not too many people play assassins i think we should go back to that one i think it would bring in more players because its smaller and theres more fighting and people like it a lot better, the new map is sick but all the people that play assassins have been playing it for a long time and i think most poeple like the old map better and i think you guys should make a poll and see what people prefer! I most definitely love the old map as it was smaller and the people with diamond can't hide and run so far smaller means more fighting which people like!!

The new map is amazing it looks really cool, but the old map is original, and without that old map assassins would have never got so big, it made assassins so fun and a lot of people would agree. The old map will bring in a lot more people and i think with a little changes too update it will be awesome and im sure people will agree!!!!!! I hope you guys take thought into this and choose to bring back the old map as it was a lot of peoples favorite games i know it was mine i always loved to get back on and look for diamonds and had so much fun and when it changed a lot of people lost interest. Plz plz take it into consideration you will make a lot of peoples day and im 150% positive it will bring in more players!!!

When it changed, a lot of people lost interest indeed. Most of them people where alternative accounts to users who download a cheap software (with a side-dish of viruses) to search for proxies to crack Minecraft accounts. Since the new map I personally have seen less of these people. From your point of view, the old map back is simple, but i'm not sure we have the save anymore as when Cubecraft 2.0 got released, the entire save of Cubecraft 1.0 got deleted, and that was the save the map were saved on. Since the release of 2.0 our player base has grown, a lot. Most players will not even know the "old assassins map".

True it has grown a lot but assassins has decreased in players and i think if you guys could revive that old map it would add even more players to the server. Great to see your a head admin Orange btw

Guide to assassins:
-Kill somebody
-Camp away from everybody once you have their food until you have 300+ points
-Buy armour
-Own everybody
Rather than having chests that people camp, couldn't the chests be removed, and instead you get like +5 points whenever you kill somebody? It would encourage people to fight instead of camping chests or running away, and the points could be kept until you spend them (even after death), which would reward you for turning around and killing that guy that's bothering you.

Wow i never thought of that, that would actually be a great idea, and would encourage more pvp and less camping, and when they die they would lose all their points so it's like the original kind just more pvp based. I really think that will be better, and is there still a chance of reviving the old map because i really loved that map and i hate to see it go as it made my minecraft, without it i woul dhave never really played mc i had a lot of great times, and i think most people would love to see it back, as most people that play assassins are the original people who have played it when it first came out. I really hope you guys take it into consideration because i would love to get back into the old map and playing with friends and having a good time. And the smaller the map more pvp there is so i think @superxsnap s idea and the smaller map would bring a lot of pvp people into the server adding more players. Some people might think its like kit pvp, but it also has you buying stuff and saving up, TBH i wish that assassins never changed, but time is changing and maybe it is time to update some things, but the original map was an amazing map and i hope to see it back soon! :D Maybe we could bring the new map in along side it eventually when it grows even more! Because im sure the old map will bring a lot of people back in and than it will allow for a new map that will still have a lot! I really hope you guys do take this into consideration as many people would love to bring the old map back, but with a few updates for the new year! :D
