Atackers and Defenders - New Gamemode Idea

Hello,

Today i was brainstorming about a new gamemode for CubeCraft. CubeCraft is a popular server but i think it needs more gamemodes. So Cube need people with good ideas for the server. Yes its enough, im talking to much xD.

The Idea

There are Atackers and Defenders(10 VS 10). Its seems a bit like a Kingdom fight. The Defenders are in a castle and the Atackers are coming. They have a high big wall with sand lava and obsidian inside of it. There is a example here http://i.imgur.com/GIe4Hcy.jpg. The Atackers and Defenders need to have:

A bow(Flame, Power 3, Punch I) , arrows, sword(Sharpness 4), pickaxe(Eff 5), a fishing rod, 64 steak, 5 golden apples, 64 blocks, lava, water, compass, 1 boat. And the Defenders got 10 TNT and Flint and Steel! Ofcourse they can vote for Basic, Normal, Overpowerd. And the Time. Kits are not allowed because its a war and the Groups need the same items!

so they have to run up and break through the wall? In my opinion I think it would be better if there was a core indie the castle that the attackers need to blow up. The defenders would have better gear, but the only way they can win is by surviving. Each defender also only has two lives. The attackers would have much worse gear, but they have infinite respawn. They would have to blow up the core before Time ran out. Each game would have two rounds, with each side switching once. Also I think there should be kits so that there is some diversity in the game play.

Seems like the new mode they have in Annihilation.
(Normal annihilation is where 4 teams fight against each other to defeat their nexus. So: Blue, Yellow, Red and Green have an Battle-royal.)
A new beta-annihilation mode has been released in a server and I got the chance to test it. (It was today)
Instead of the 4 teams having a a battle royal, 3 teams had to fight against 1 team. (Aka it was everyone against Red.)
It was actually kind of fun and different.
Red got all the good gear while I (+44 other people) had only leather armor and a wooden sword.
So all of us had to break Red's defences and break their Nexus while we had unlimited respawns.

tbh, I don't really like this game. It just doesn't fit Cube. I like @TheChesireMouse 's idea allot but it seems like that game already exists on an other server. So -1 from me.

I had no idea about this annihilation thing, I dont get around to many other servers besides cubecraft xD If it is already on another server than it's not for cubecraft because they pride themselves on more original games.

I like the sound of this, even if its similar to game modes on other servers the idea is a good base to start with :)
