I've explained that I do agree with this, but also why I don't in this particular context, I am not going to repeat myself but if you want more explanation you can always dm me. Ill conclude it one final time for you: Automisation results in people being less active, even when the automated results don't fully meet their standards. Players generally prefer Overpowered right now, but I (and many others) like to switch things up every now and then... This is crucial for making eggwars games less repetitive.

Just gonna: https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/eggwars-suggestions-improvement.225604/#post-1091264
In short: as long as there are other gamerules to choose from, there will be players that like gamerules different than the one generally preferred, as long as the gamerules are pretty good (cough* cough* double and triple health cough*). From a server-perspective, you want your games to be attractive to all players, including those that prefer gamerules different than the ones usually selected.
Add to this that the current most preferred gamerule is one that needs donators to be played with, and you get a game where lots of unranked players are unsatisfied with their games and their eggwars experience as a whole, resulting in them leaving. Which then results in players donating less because their preferred gamerule will be selected 80% anyways.

At this point I’m getting a little confused and I’m not sure you understand. If you want to change it up you can. It’s not stopping you, if you want to discuss this outside sure but this doesn't change much as you are still in full control no matter what. You are untitled to your own opinion however.

"if you want to change it up, you can" yes, but people won't, because us, human species, like being lazy. I can give more examples of automated stuff that made us lazy if you want? But I felt like the electric car was sufficient idk.

So auto-kit means your lazy? Also your making a huge assumption that’s certainly false. Also no where is there a fact that humans are “lazy.”

No, you're lazy by nature, and in fact, yes, I find myself rarely changing kits as opposed to changing votes way more often. Even though kits affect the early phases of the game way more than votes do, it changes the playstyle on an individual player more than the item types, and are therefore a better way to create variety in between games.

Also no where is there a fact that humans are “lazy.”
Do your research, humans are inheritantly lazy by nature, just gonna link some articles on different studies that have proven this:
https://time.com/4027942/lazy-walking-exercise/ , https://bigthink.com/surprising-science/evolution-made-our-brains-lazy , https://www.treehugger.com/health/are-humans-hardwired-laziness.html

"And they say their findings, published in Current Biology, fit in well with the common tendency to put as little effort into tasks as possible."

I don't like going this deep into statements I put out, but I also don't like people refuting them without the proof to back them up.
If this auto-vote gets implemented, the meta will shift éven further into Overpowered Item Types. Which to my knowledge is a bad thing, I've explained why in this thread and the one I've linked you before.

Ok at this point your either taking this way to seriously or not at all. Please stop referencing study’s that have nothing to do with auto voting. I am not lazy and you can’t just go around saying everyone is lazy that’s ridiculous. Literally you can vote just like you normally do if you want to change something. I don’t understand how you don’t realize this. Your study’s are false because if people already vote and select kits and it use auto kit. Once again if the meta is already op then it’s not an issue, also how is op an issue if everyone loves it? You state it as it’s a fact but it’s not. It’s an unpopular opinion. Also if people are to lazy like they are with kits sometimes that’s there problem not the feature.

I'm taking this way too seriously ^_ ^ , and yes I actually can go around saying everyone is lazy by nature, because it's scientifically proven. You on the other hand, are just saying "no" to everything I say without anything to back you up. I'm sorry if I personally offended you, maybe u have mutated genes that make you "non-lazy" xd. Thing is, lazyness isn't bad, it allows us to save energy for when we need it, and allowed humans to evolve to the point where we are now.

Yes, you CAN change your vote, but people won't do so as much, because humans are lazy by nature.

lol

It's a problem because:
- less incentive to buy a rank
- players leaving when another gamerule gets picked (or selected by default), because they know the next game they join will probably be OP anyways
- players leaving because OP gets picked 80% of the time
- repetetive games
- no reason for the other gamerules to exist in the first place, might as well add new gamerules that are actually fun
etc.

Please don't put words in my mouth. You just quoted a fragment to change the meaning of what I said. Also what right do you have to declare something so false? "All humans are lazy.' Yeah we somehow went to the moon, but we are still lazy. I have had plenty of back up, you are making yourself look ridiculous. You state all these things like there fact, but your the ONLY one who doesn't like this idea currently. I never said you offended me? And you just need to stop with this lazy thing. This is not a science forums, it's an mc forums. Your points makes little to no sense all it does it make you sound crazy saying: Auto vote is bad because it makes people more lazy. When you literally support a very similar if not same feature called auto kits. How is there less incentive to buy a rank? It's an additional feature. What do I need to say to explain it better to you? People are going to vote anyway. It literally doesn't matter weather you have it automatically do it or not. It doesn't matter. All this does is allow you to vote quicker, which is a feature I would like to use if I'm going to pay $100+ for a rank. Again, if people are going to vote for it anyway, how does this make it worse? It doesn't, your points are very invalid. What's worse than auto vote is not being able to vote which is 99% of the reason to buy a rank in the first place. With the reduction in games and players most of the time you will join a mostly full game and it will start pretty soon after, this gives you less time to vote, that's not fair. If you need me to re-explain so it makes more sense let me know. Otherwise I'm just going to stop debating with you as it get's nowhere. Have a good day!

It’s a nice mod,but however voting takes 3 seconds maximum.Im not too lazy to download something like this, which of course doesn’t mean it’s bad.

I agree with the others saying it can take a maximum of 3 seconds to vote, but sometimes (at least for myself) I would either:
Join a match that's already about to start, and I basically have no time to realize what's going on and start voting.
Or, sometimes I'd vote for something else that I don't want, by accident, due to fast clicking.
Auto-voting would really help me personally, and hopefully many others, would be happy to see this implemented eventually!
