We have an awesome set of updates and tweaks for you today! Most of them are for our Bedrock network but we do have a small update for Java as well!
We've totally revamped our lobbies on Bedrock. We've built some brand new lobbies for each of our main game types and you can navigate to them via the main lobby.
Took this screenshot just as we were coming online after release!
Our new lobby layout is a lot cleaner with fewer NPCs and more space... plus, check out those game logos!

Each lobby has a unique set of characters to take you into a game, this is the SkyWars squad!

Over on Java, we've changed how the lobby is laid out to give us more space and allow for future upgrades to the lobby.
Did a full 180.... crazy...
‼ We haven't brought multiple lobbies back to Java yet. This is something we want to do, but for it to be effective we need to have a higher number of concurrent players on the network so lobbies continue to feel "busy". Although we have seen a great amount of growth on our Java network in recent months, we don't want to stunt this. We believe once we start to peak at around 8k players - we should be able to bring back multiple lobbies! This is something we are continuing to review and we'll let you know if something changes!
We have brought over our loot/content system from SkyWars and EggWars into Survival Games for Bedrock! We have a new Survival Games rank being launched soon and with that, you'll see the following pop up over the next few days on the network:
Our amazing server engine team have been hard at work improving play experience and fixing oddities in how our network works. There are too many changes to list but here are two main ones:
Oh, and also there's a new Pet pack coming out on Bedrock over the next few days!

Content Update - Survival Games Bedrock

- Gravestones are now available in Survival Games ⚰
- Kill Effects have been added to Survival Games ☠
- Support for new Scoreboards and Hotbar systems
- Item type voting!
General Bedrock Updates
Our amazing server engine team have been hard at work improving play experience and fixing oddities in how our network works. There are too many changes to list but here are two main ones:
- @Redned's scoreboard rampage:
- Scoreboards have been added to all games and the lobbies
- You can disable Scoreboards via your settings as we know it can fill the screen up on mobile
- @SupremeMortal's inventory shenanigans :
- The entire inventory system for CubeCraft has been rewritten
- Largely this was done to increase support for an as yet unreleased-on-bedrock sky based survival simulator
- You can now use furnaces and other items
- The crafting helper now works
- Generally, the inventory handling is a lot smoother and you should see less glitchiness in lobbies and games!
Oh, and also there's a new Pet pack coming out on Bedrock over the next few days!
