BedWars Best BedWars Strategies for Beginners

Hey everyone!
As you probably know, BedWars has finally come out of beta, and a lot of players are hopping into CubeCraft’s version of the game.

Since we’re seeing new players around, I thought it’d be nice to make a thread where we can all share some beginner strategies to help new players improve, have more fun, and maybe win a few games along the way!

Feel free to drop your own tips and strategies below, let’s make this a helpful thread for anyone starting out!
I’ll start by sharing the strategy I always follow:

My Strategy​

Right at the start, I grab 60/64 iron and 20 gold. That’s just enough to buy a stone sword, some chainmail armor, and a bunch of wool blocks.

The first thing I do is cover my bed with wool. Then, I rush straight to mid and try to grab as many diamonds as I can from the center. If other players show up, I'll fight them or run away.
Once I’m back at my base, I buy Sharpness and Protection upgrades first (they make a big difference in fights) and grab a pickaxe so I can break beds faster.

From there, the game can go into two different ways:

1. I break the beds and kill the players quickly — easy win

2. Some players start getting very strong, which makes the game harder.

If that happens, I:
I buy Regeneration and Health upgrades, upgrade to iron armor and a diamond sword, and get extras like ender pearls and totems if I can afford them.

After that, I just keep rushing teams, trying to break beds and eliminate the users left.

This strategy has worked well for me since Bedwars came out in CCG.

My Bedwars strategy requires faster gens. I would sit and wait for 50 gold (you'll have plenty of iron by then) then proceed to get chain armor, iron sword, pickaxe, an axe, shears and the rest is blocks. After taking out a team, i take the resources from the enemy generator and buy fireballs with all the gold gotten there and move on to the next base. If a team is strong, i prioritize getting armor and weapon upgrades with diamonds.

Sometimes i let @Thjis do all the work and get the win!

I mostly use these ones

“Casual” - I get leather armor, get full tools and get terracotta defense for bed, then destroy the rest of the beds

“Rusher” - Get terracotta defense and rush beds not getting armor to get wool instead

My strat is a rush
10 gold 30 iron to get iron sword and 48 blocks, run to mid and take the 5 diams, take out a bed and get 10 gold 20 iron from their gen, whilst running back to my Base get 5 more diams from mid gen, and get the other 10 gold needed for a pick if someone has terracotta bed defense and buy sharpness. If no terracotta put gold in chest and get the other two beds
Easy 3 minute solo game but requires a bit of luck and a lot of skill
Edit: I don't really care if my bed gets broken because If I di3 I'm in a very bad spot anyway and besides, bedwars players at my time are kinda bad so I most likely won't die

That's pretty much what I do, except I ignore diamonds and just rush with an iron sword and blocks

I would avoid diamonds but I mean with my strat you're going through the middle and picking the diams up for free anyway without any wait so it's a win win

The easiest way to win is with a party, but that gets boring fairly quickly.

If I'm playing alone:

I'll ignore bed defense; it's just a waste of time. If you're gonna go out to kill and break beds, a bit of wool/wood/clay is not going to stop someone from breaking yours. At best keep a fireball in your inventory to blow the bridge if you see someone going to your bed.

- Grab 64 wool and 2 fireballs. This is enough to take the first bed if you're gunning for it, usually people don't have clay down that fast. If the team isn't good or got caught by surprised you can kill them with nothing but the wooden sword as well. From their gen I grab myself some leather armor and continue,

You could rush diamonds and just stack up - sometimes the only option when you're against a good party especially if you're the one being targeted. But the more fun way is to just rush beds and collect dia along the way from island to island.

My strategy is wait and get 20 gold, get a pickaxe, buy a stone sword and get wool blocks, every time there is at least one rusher on my team, so I use the bridge they made, and go for the team with concrete defense. if there is a skeleton turret, I skip it, and go for the next one.
Sometimes I wait and get an iron sword, 32 blocks, and leather armor

I don't have bw rank so what I do is queue that one jungle map on duos, get 16 blox, go to mid and get the dims, put em in a chest, get a pickaxe, and rush everyone.

uh tbh for me this is probably most used strategy but here it is! ​

You Start by collecting 20 iron from the spawn generator. Use 20 iron to buy 32 blocks, which is just enough to reach the middle island. Do not waste time—immediately begin bridging in a straight line to mid. Once you reach the middle, stand at the diamond generator until you get at least 5–10 diamonds. While you’re waiting, make sure no other players are rushing mid; if they do, knock them off using your fists or blocks. After collecting diamonds, return to your base. By then, you should have around 30 gold (if your teammates are nice enough to leave something for you) from your spawn generator—use 10 gold for an iron sword and 20 gold for chainmail armor. This makes you strong enough to rush nearby enemies. Buy another set of 16 or 32 blocks using spare iron and bridge to the nearest enemy. Quickly break their bed and eliminate them before they gear up. After the first kill, rotate between collecting diamonds from mid and attacking other islands. The more diamonds you get, the stronger your upgrades and gear. For me, the best strategy is to rush mid instantly, get diamonds early, then return with full gear to dominate other players before they even leave their island. This way, I win most matches with speed and control!!
