Better Staff Report System

So i have made only 4 reports in my time on cubecraft, but only 2 have been responded to. One of them got responded to without me having to do anything, but the other, I had to message a staff member to get it looked at, for the two that didn't get responded to, I messaged 2 different staff members, and neither of them responded to the post, or direct message. The main reason I think that these reports are being missed, is because staff just look at the reports, respond to a few, then leave. The system i suggest would be is that staff MUST respond the OLDEST report, meaning that reports cannot be left unattended to. Im not sure how that would be filtered out, but the devs should definitely add a filter system on the reports section, so that staff can filter through locked threads, and find the oldest ones easy.

New staff members are being recruited atm, so the 'reports without response' problem should be fixed soon.
About the surgestion to look at the oldest reports first, isn't necesarry I think, as long as all the rule breakers are punished.

Think that mods/admins have life, they do other thinks and they cant do everything, if your report has no response you can add a staff member with
@(username). ;)

Well the point was, even if they don't have enough time, the report will eventually be responded to, no matter what, if the report was made during the week, it might be responded on the weekend, when all the staff get on, but it will get responded to.

Yes, I agree that the current system is problematic. My reports usually only get answered after tagging staff, so I assume that a many reports never get answered at all. I think the reports could be managed more efficiently if they didn't use forum posts. I actually have an idea for a more efficient mechanism, when I have time for it I'll probably make a suggestion about it.

As mentioned above this doesn't always work and this would be more neat for the staff as they wont be spammed with a million tags and conversations :P

The system was fine at 1.8. Since 1.9 the amount of reports that have been done, dropped massive and now, with the new system, I've the idea that 1 out of 100 reports are getting closed. 5 staffmembers watched my reports, but 0 replies. I eventually private messaged a mod.

Please remember, Staff members are volunteers helping the server in THEIR FREE TIME. So please be patient and you can always Contact a staff member AFTER
3 DAYS.

I would suggest bumping your thread after 1 day without any response.
If it still doesn't get handled, tag some online staff members at that timing.
Even though we do not encourage players to private us message about their report as we get many different kind of messages in both our inbox and notification, we try not to ignore them and get it done when possible.

The issue is that, everyone wants their report to be done first.
We would do some of the new reports and some of the old, you know, to balance it out.
Please bear with us for now, we are trying our best to keep up with the reports

The reason why reports are not being attended at the moment is because especially at this time, school begins. There's a lot of stress with schoolwork, and a lot of balancing that you need to do, especially if you need to do reports, or if you need to be online, as well as schoolwork, homework, etc. Whilst staff members would love to attend your reports as soon as possible, they might not be able to. :)
