Because 1.8 pvp does not fit blockwars (u shouldn't die in 3 seconds in games like blockwars)

Still, I barley play 1.9+ I dislike the combat system so much, so not being able to play the game would be very stupid.

Would you like to share your stats to back up this claim? Thought not. You may not like the changes we had to make because your favourite game was a casualty, it was absolutely necessary though and is proving to have been the correct decision.

Refer to player count of 1,8 and 1.9 blockwars, idk exactly but1,8 blockwars really starts
