That's cheating, if you cheat, your problem.No.
Chess is a separate game from Minecraft, and I personally do not think it would be a good idea to bring it to CubeCraft.
If you do want to play chess, there are good websites out there to play competitive or amateur chess. There are entire communities out there dedicated to chess, and their system will certainly be better than Minecraft. There is no reason to bring it to CubeCraft. It's a waste of time and over-complicated. We should give the devs more time to develop unique, Minecraft-based games for CubeCraft instead of copying already existent popular games onto the server.
Simply stated, there is no reason to add it onto CubeCraft, because you can already play elsewhere.
Also, if you do bring it into the server, there are ways to cheat in online chess that CubeCraft cannot possibly prevent. The method I just thought of, as I read this thread, can be used as follows:
1. Get a chess app on your phone or another device, or get out of Minecraft full screen mode and open up a chess app or website.
2. Prepare to start a chess game against the highest difficulty of computers.
3. In Minecraft, if your opponent has the first turn, choose for yourself to have the first turn in your game against the computer. If you have the first turn in Minecraft, let the computer have the first turn.
4. Mirror your two opponents' moves to each other, basically letting the other player in Minecraft play against the computer at highest difficulty level.
If you have a good enough chess app, it would be very difficult for you to lose a match, and CubeCraft cannot possibly know if you cheated or not. There are likely also similar and/or better ways to cheat than my method, with already almost guarantees wins every single time.
I love chess, and I would like to play it on CubeCraft if it is possible, but one, it is not worth adding onto CubeCraft, and two, there can be cheaters out there that cannot possibly be detected.
That is the problem with copying a popular strategy game.
That's cheating, if you cheat, your problem.
I think many of CubeCraft players play Fairly and wouldn't open a Chest App to just win a game in CubeCraft...
What you just said is Sad...
Those are Hackers, different thing...I'm not saying I would do it, I am just noting the possibility and saying that I would never want to play against someone doing that.
If people are fair, how is it possible, then, that before Sentinel was implemented, I could record a one hour session on Egg Wars and have at least one hacker every single game? How is it possible that I meet rule-breakers every single day, whether it's griefers, teamers, hackers, skybasers, there are always people breaking the rules. If you have never cheated, maybe you do not understand why people cheat, but for them, it is fun to cheat. It is fun to win, even unfairly.
Think, if people risk getting banned to hack or otherwise break the rules on CubeCraft to win, why wouldn't they cheat when there is no chance of them getting caught at all?
Those are Hackers, different thing...
I doubt someone would open a Chess game to "Win" in CubeCraft Chess, Would be sooooooo Dumb u.u
You are being really really fictitious...Hackers are people who like to cheat to win. From that perspective, there is no difference between one of them and someone who would open a chess app to win a game of chess.
If someone would go through the process of downloading, installing, and learning to use a hacked client, which is actually a fairly complicated process if you want to do it right, they would spend the time to open a simple chess app.
You are being really really fictitious...
But Oh well...
NOte: Hacking is Ez u.u Installing a Hacked client is Ez, Moving the Mouse is Ez, the hacked client does the rest c:)
Wow... You really do know how to hack but this is not the point...Actually, no. I test hacked clients privately to learn how to identify and counter them. I consider myself decently good at using hacked clients, and it is not as easy as you think.
First, you have to find hacked clients, go through the long process of actually getting to the download without clicking on advertisements by accident, download the hack, find your .minecraft folder, unpack the hacked client, put it in the versions folder, make a new profile using the hacked version, and only then are you finished the installation. If you want to be hardcore, some hackers I know tried 5 - 10 clients before they settled on one. The best client I know for pvp, especially to avoid detection of your pvp hacks, is wolfram, so let's continue with the assumption that you are installing wolfram.
You then have to go in game, find out what every single hack does, test to find out which hacks can bypass a server's anti-cheat, which is a tedious and dangerous process. Then, you have to configure the following killaura settings, if you are going for pvp:
hit angle, turn speed, hit range, hit speed, miss rate, lock view, randomize timings, watchdog bypass, target mobs, target players, target neutral, target tameable, and a few more
Then, you have to configure every hotkey for the following basic hacks, which you may not want on all the time:
Killaura / triggerbot / multi-aura / legit aura / force field / click-aura, Criticals (probably same key as killaura), Flight, Anti-KB, Auto-Eat, Sprint, Bow-aimbot / trajectories / aim assist, X-ray, Regen (doesn't work on most servers nowadays), Freecam (optional), Fast eat, Middle-click friends, Jesus, Safewalk, Cavefinder, Fastplace, Blink, Nuker (optional for griefing)
Some of these may have the same hotkey as they will only ever be used together.
Then, some hacks you might want on all the time:
Fullbright, PlayerESP, ItemESPHealth tags, Nametags, ChestESP, Auto armor, Auto sword, Auto eat, etc.
Then, you have to learn how to use your hacks and how to change your settings to avoid detection. You also have to memorize your hotkeys and be able to press them at a moment's notice.
That still isn't all. I've know hackers who go out, buy alt accounts and install a paid vpn just to avoid being banned so they can come back and keep hacking. For VPNs, the best ones I know are cyberghost and the softether VPN client. For alts, some people go on MCLeaks, but most accounts on there are already banned from major servers, so they pay for full access alts instead on other websites.
Well, it would be fun, unless people start catching on to the cheating strategies. Now that I think about it, I probably should not have posted a guide to hacking and cheating in online chess...Wow... You really do know how to hack but this is not the point...
The point is Chess would be Fun in Arcade Games! :)
Just a thing you forgot:No.
