Change is a great thing. There is some cool things in this update that the staff team should be very proud of making. Sadly, you ruined TD. Everyone would have just been happy for bug fixes and skins :P. You have messed up TD, Good work Cubecraft, keep it up!
We've been listening to your feedback, and decided there was so much unexplored territory with Tower Defence - so we’ve taken some extremely ambitious steps in making every game you play more unique. This HUGE update includes epic new features such as tower upgrade trees, animations and so much more (Check out the change log!)
The Towers
Please note - Towers you have purchased prior to this update will be refunded as soon as you join the lobby. They are not gone forever, don't panic!
Tower Upgrade Trees
We’ve implemented tower upgrade paths, a lot like the well known game bloons. You can now choose the path your tower takes. You can use your game points to unlock the path you want - This can be purchased by using the shop in the game lobby.
Depending on which path you take, artillery towers can now plant landmines and mage towers can rain fireballs! We want you all to have as much fun as possible trying out all these amazing tower paths and finding your favourites. Unlock them all, experiment and rain destruction on your enemies!
New Animations
Whatever path you choose, this will change the animation of the tower. A lot of our old towers animations were just boring and needed some more pizazz - So we're proud to show off some of the crazy new effects...
Zeus Tower - Bolts bounce up to 5 times
Leach Tower - Death ray (Like come on it’s a freakin' death ray!?)
Tower stacking prevention
We understand that not every new player will know what to do straight away. They're new and they're still learning in many cases. As a result they sometimes place mage towers or ice towers directly next to eachother. For an experienced player this can be quite frustrating, and in many cases, causing you to lose the game.
We got your feedback, we've understood it, and this should no longer be a problem! We have implemented a radius that detects how close you can place a tower next to a tower of the same type.
Ice - 12 block radius
Mage - 8 block radius
Poison - 15 block radius
Quake - 10 block radius
Tower builder menu redesigned
To keep everything simple, we have used consistent colours across all towers, so you can easily identify what ability it uses. We've also kept all the 5 x 5 towers on a separate line.
Voting options
We know that you, our community, love voting options and mixing up your games! So, here you have it! We're introducing voting options in Tower Defence, so you've got so many more options and style of gameplay. Check them out below:
Pricing (Emerald+)
Normal
Double income (Everyone gets double income. Double goldmine. Double coins per kill. Double exp per mob sent.)
Hardcore (Towers take time to build. Castle health is at 20%. Troops have 50% more health. Guards disabled. 5 second Summoner cooldown. Armageddon starts in 15 mins.)
Armageddon (Lapiz+)
Random
Wither (Spawns wither (5k health, regeneration))
Lightning (Random towers destroyed.)
Horde (Lots of strong mobs spawn.)
This is how Survival will look, wave after waves of monsters will be sent until they overwhelm you. You can also add to this and grow the wave even bigger! Waves will be sent periodically, which is shown in the boss bar. It will show you what mobs will appear in the next waves in the scoreboard, giving you some time to prepare you defences to fight against the mobs specific weaknesses. Best part is, this is only one of the many options!
We’ve shuffled around the menu to make it clearer and easier to use. Once you select the mobs you wish to send, the cage will glow to signify when you can send your mobs.
You might be thinking that there doesn’t seem to be as many mobs as there were before - However… When you click the 'Nether Star' you will open up a new GUI menu which allows you to upgrade your mobs!
As soon as you have the resources required the glass pane will change to orange. As you upgrade, the mobs aesthetics may change. They will become stronger! For example when you upgrade spiders to a higher level, you will unlock the ability to summon invisible spiders.
Tutorial
One of the big things with Tower Defence is that it's a game that takes a lot of learning. Tower Defence requires a lot of strategy and in order to help our wonderful community understand the game better, we have improved the tutorial massively. You can now access our new and improved tutorial in the game lobby using the glowing bookshelf. This helps experienced players as you will no longer get the issue of new players trying to do the tutorial during your actual game. Here is a preview of how it looks. We have made a very simplified map which you can explore and navigate around by completing your assigned objectives.
The builds
For a while now, we've been thinking about introducing a new gameplay mechanic to Tower Defence. With this update we're happy to announce we've introduced multiple routes! These will help make your game more challenging as you have to defend against monsters coming for you from multiple lanes.
We have decided to only do this for all the new maps. Further to this, to make it simpler for all newcomers to TD, we have implemented a checkered pattern on every map thanks to your feedback.
We’ve implemented tower upgrade paths, a lot like the popular game bloons, you can now choose what path your tower can take, in serving more destruction!

General tweaks

Hello after reviewing the update, all the towers that buy and inverted points to buy such towers is no longer useful? Now they charge for everything?
Please ... after having bought all the towers ... you leave me without any and with something that I do not understand that it will cost me a lot of coins ... (Did I just play this mode?)
Please respect previous purchases ...
I find it fatal how to take advantage of users with this disproportionate price increases for everything, when I had it all unlocked :(
I'm just going to say that this update sucks. Why are endermites and cave spiders so hard to get. you can still get them but you have to spend so much exp. Most people just don't have that much xp. I feel like the towers were buffed to much giants get killed so fast.
So after playing TD with all its new bells and whistles on the whole im really pleased with it,good job everyone. But the whole quickstart/hardcore silverfish rush really needs nerfing. And all it would need is silverfish to cost 110 xp!

You must be on the PC (Java edition) for this to work. (Windows, Mac or Linux).
1.Open up your Minecraft
2.Click the multiplayer button
3.Click the "Add server" button
4.Type the following :
In the Server name box: Anything you want
In the Server IP box: play.cubecraft.net
5.Click the confirm button
6.This will add a server to the server list named (what you typed in Server name)
7.Mouse over the little blue cube icon, and click on the biggest triangle, which is pointing to the right.
8.The server will load in a few seconds, if that doesn't work tell me here
9.You will be put in the lobby. You will probably have a compass in your hand. Right-click once to make a menu pop up.
10.You now have a selection of games to play. They all work except parkour, which is in maintenance. Left click the one you want.
11.You will arrive to a game lobby. Move fowards until you see a poster, which describes the game you chose in few words. (This is true for all games except Blockband, which is a bit different, so don't choose that one first).
12.Notice the statues looking happy to the left and to the right. Punch those to join a game.
13.You will enter the waiting room. Players will join (hopefully). All the games are somewhat popular except for Ultra Hardcore and some arcade games, so don't choose those.
14.The game will start. What you need to do now can be absolutely anything depending on the game you chose.
15.When the game ends, you will be brought back to the lobby for another one. You can right-click the compass again to change games.
16.Press "Disconnect" in the menu you brought up by the escape key on your keyboard to leave the server.
Here is a short list of all the games:
Blockband: A guitar hero clone, in which you must press the numbers 1-2-3-4-5 in time to get combos. Game size: 1 player (Not recommended for beginners)
Skywars: Players must fight to the death on little islands. Don't fall. Game size: 12-16 (A good game for beginners, but you'll die a lot)
Eggwars: Skywars with a twist: you can come back when you die if your egg is still here, and you buy things instead of crafting them. (Not recommended for beginners)
Lucky Islands: Skywars again, but with a twist. "Lucky blocks" spawn in the map instead of chests, which can be broken for random rewards or sometimes, death. (A good game for beginners, but you'll die a lot, note that you might suffer from sudden lag hen you enter the lobby)
Tower Defence: Just like the genre of the same name, stop monsters from destroying your castle by building towers, and send said monsters to the other team to destroy their castle. (Not recommended for beginners)
Blockwars: Team based combat in capture the flag style. (A good game for beginners, but you'll die a lot)
PvP: Pure duels with other players. No gimmicks. (A good game for beginners, but you'll die a lot)
Arcade: A selection of varied short 5 minute games. (Not recommended for beginners)
Survival games: Free for all fighting where you must loot chests to get fighting gear. A Minecraft classic. (A good game for beginners, but you'll die a lot)
Free build: Creative mode, but you can show other people your creations. (Perfect for beginners)
Ultra Hardcore: Survival, but other players want to kill you and you can't regenerate health. (Not recommended for beginners and unpopular)
Minerware: 16 microgames in quick succession. Win the most microgames to win the whole round. (Not recommended for beginners)
That's it! Hope you enjoy Cubecraft as much as I do.
At the first play of the colossal update. I thought like "i want old version back. i have a very good strategy". BUT after playing like months, i was like "this is so cool, better than old update". Also this update made me want to discover strategies, this game became more balanced than before, but some "overpowered towers or monsters issues" are some issues. My old strategy was with artillery, ice and Archer tower. It is so op that it can kill monsters instantly. But this update is great because artillery is no longer overpowered. Op offense strategy before was sending giants. But thanks to this update, giants became weaker. But There are some unbalanced towers and monsters like turret towers and magma cubes
Overall. This update is 4x better than the old update. Nice update

I relly love the new upgrates, it more fun if you can vote, but somehow the magma cubes are better than max giants. It better to spend allmost 20k coins for 12 magma cubes than spend more than 100k coins for max giants. Plz do something about it.
