So how about challenges for a gamemode to get people to play it.

Everyone helps with this challenges and everyone gets the rewards.

If i kill 1 and jhonny kills 1 person we have 2 kills in total

Example:
Week 1: skywars
Kill 100 people in skywars => 1 cubelet
Kill 1000 people in skywars => 1 super cubelet
Kill 10000 people in skywars => 1 uber cubelet with a random gadget.

Week 2: ctf
Capture 100 flags => ...
Etc.

People would join these gamemodes to help getting the rewards. And this would spread the playerbase a bit.

Rewards and goals can change

Im on phone so i dont want to write a ton of text :p. Comment questions

Overall I like the idea.

Yet, good luck reaching 10k flags in one week playing CTF, I couldn't and yet I could reach 150-170 flags per day

CTF=>100, 200, 400

Yet I personally don't like it to be team work challenges, I prefer them to be alone. Anyways that's my opinion

I like the idea behind it, but the rewards don't seem very amazing in my opinion. If you have to kill 10 thousand players in total in one week, I don't think someone who got 600 kills should get the same rewards as someone who only got 3. It's like the rewards are basically participation rewards, making it not much of an incentive to play the game. I do like San's proposed guild system being useful for this though.
The rewards are a neat idea, but it would be full of people (intentionally or not) freeloading while others do all the work.
These weekly challenges seem like they'd be much better if they counted and rewarded individually, with much smaller yet somewhat challenging tasks. Basically the exact same thing as the daily challenges, but then weekly. You personally have to get all objectives.

Maybe change it to a personal challenge?
(To make it easy to explain i will use a "coin")

Personal challenges:
Week 1:
Kill 10 people in skywars => 1 cubelet
Kill 50 people in skywars => 3 cubelet
Kill 100 people in skywars => 1 super cubelet
If you have 100 kills you are done with the challenge and you get 1 "coin"

Global challenges: (rewards you can only get if you have 1 "coin")
Week 1:
Get a total of 50 coins => a arrow trail
Get a total of 100 coins => 1 uber cubelet
Get a total of 200 coins => 1 uber cubelet 1k points 1k experience.

These rewards and challenges can change and are just for this thread.

Also how about mixed challenges?
Week 1:
Kill 1 people in skywars => ...
Destroy 10 eggs => ...
......
