Hello, I made a new plot on a server which features Creative plots. I hope that Cubecraft will feature Creative as well, I made a thread about that here: https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/creative-plots-on-cubecraft.227064/#post-1097782

But until Cubecraft will introduce Creative, I will build on other servers, and I have finished this plot. I began with building a castle:
https://gyazo.com/ac0bd70b8ee3f92d24645d8589535f04
After that, some landscaping and building houses:

I built a ship as well:
https://gyazo.com/280ab613f9fbeff293f555e6b6709777

So that brings us to the end result which is a small plot with a small castle and small ship. I have to admit this server's plot sizes are very small.

That was my plot, I hope you found it nice and you can use my techniques as well if you want to. Feel free to leave a comment.

Nice builds!
If the server has world-edit I'd rather use full woodblocks instead of those basic which look a big messy to me. (for birch 17:14)
Very small plots in my opinion, as I'm used to 501x501 plots :)
(Or switch the buildserver for voxel sniper, world-edit and bigger plots.)

The concept is good but I think you could still improve it a lot. The castle: The flags at the top look very messy and you could give them a nicer shape very easily, the roofs have a weird shape as well, you should make them flat at the bottom and then work on making a conical shape as you go up, it's not that hard when you get how to do it, another thing that looks weird to me is the glass used to make the bridge, istead of it you could use some fances maybe. The castle is pretty small in general and it's hard to give it good details that would look better, if you made it just a bit bigger I'm sure you could've done things way more effective, but that isn't bad as well. Another thing you should work on is the path, instead of using the path blocks you could use dirt (3:0,3:1) and some spruce wood (5:1), (If you can build on 1.12 you could also use 252:12 which is the brown concrete powder instead of the spruce wood) texturing using //replace command looks bad but I think it could work on paths like that (I don't know if you have access to world edit and the other plug ins, if not well then you should change server). The houses are a bit small to my tastes and it's hard to give them a very good detailing with that size, a think I surely don't like are the roofs made using sandstone and nether bricks, there is a way too strong contrast. The trees could've been done better, it's not hard to make some very effective tree but I think yours looks a bit weird and have a really small amout on leaves at the top. Another thing I don't like all around the map is that you used half woodlogs block, you should use full woodlogs and the whole map would look way better. I like the ship, maybe the birch wood doesnt fit very good with the dark oak wood because if the same reason as sandstone and netherbrick, but overall the ship is good. I had almost forgot: I don't like the smoke, there is too much and it has a weird shape to me, maybe remove a bit of it or remove it totally.
This is it, a big tip I give you is to change the server where you build if you want to improve. Anyways it's a good start I see that you put effort on it and the result is good.
Don't take this comment as too judgy, I saw your building and your effort and I wanted to help you to get better. Well done keep working :)

Thanks a lot but a lot of blocks cannot be used, as the server is 1.9 based, and the things you find weird, I do not find weird. It is my style, and since it is creative plots, I also like path block more. It looks nicer to me than dirt in any case.

I also know that a full log block is nicer, but it does not change the shape in any case. So that will not improve a lot. It is just a small detail which would just make it a very small tad better. Usually, I do that indeed, but I did not have access to Worldedit on that server. I change servers very often, I just like to finish all of my plots on a lot of servers, as every new server is a new adventure with new people, and that is what I like.

Also, this is an old thread but thank you for the feedback! I will try to experiment some more to see if your techniques for example look good to me. Luckily, I think everything is just a manner of opinion what you said except for the Worldedit things of course. Thanks a lot!
