There are so many flaws with public plots rn, and this list of suggestions will make it possible to use them for community reasons.
Improvements to make
A command to help players promote events taking place on their plot. This command will be /p event (usage: /p event *text colour (0-9)* *message*) and players can click on it to teleport to that plot. The message will go out once a minute in global chat once a minute until the owner (or trusted player) of the plot does /p stopevent. If the player that started the event messages leaves the server, then the messages will stop.

Improvements to make
- Allow the owner (and trusted players) of the plot to edit it while public
- Allow visitors to use crafting tables, echests, trapped chests and doors
- Make dispensers, book & quill and any other things that don't work on public plots work
- Remove the items from the players hotbar and replace them with commands
- /report - report the plot you're on (usage: /report *reason*)
- /p tp - teleport to another public plot (usage: /p tp) - list of public plots will come up
- /p settings (owner and trusted players only) - allows players to change the plot's settings
- /p perms - the owner (and trusted players) of the plot can toggle what visitors can do on the plot (usage: /p perms *action*)
