No offense but it looks like a really terribly designed mess
(I kinda changed my mind after a bit of looking around actually. I have mixed feelings though), you should keep the old format's simplicity, like, do you really need a category for every single language? (I just noticed there are also two new languages- It's still a lot of split categories. I would understand the argument that, some people would wanna collapse a category for an entire language. But idk man, it just feels too much to make 5 new categories for all foreign languages, 6th for "international".)
Overall: I don't know how I feel about this. On one hand it feels like it'll be less of a mess, on the other it seems like it's just so many categories clogging up so much space for no reason. Honestly, I do not know.
The emojis- I completely hate that, but it's just a personal pet peeve. Just a question: Why did you feel it was necessary, and do you genuinely believe it brings anything of value?
I'm not saying it's a terrible design, but I hate it personally. I'm wondering if you really believe these emojis add anything of value.
Making it so that you can post media in all channels now: I'm a big fan of that. Too many times we have to switch over to media for a SINGLE image and then go back to gen chat. This would require additional moderation to make sure it doesn't turn to spam and it stays on topic, but with the overwhelming amount of new staff, I'm sure channels being undermoderated won't be an issue anymore.
Separating Java and Bedrock channels into their own categories: Looks pretty good, the old layout looked really terrible in regards of that specific aspect, I'll give you that.
