Hello there!
Whilst we appreciate these types of threads trying to give us feedback on our server, witch hunting every update that we do isn’t the best way to do it. Saying that, pretty much everything that we are doing for the last couple of months is useless, and not bringing in any players, and ergo leading us to die is far from the truth.
“I think we can all agree CubeCraft is dying” - based upon the ten people who have replied in this space of time, eleven including me, CCGN is far from dying. We have a lot planned for the future.
Furthermore, comparing our recent player base to our highest ever player base is completely invalid - the reason why it is the highest player base is because it simply cannot be broken unless we can get players back into CubeCraft. This happened with the 1.9 update.
Into your points:
1 - “Minecraft won’t partner with a server that’s about to die” - The several thousand players online at a time say otherwise. Mojang are still partnered with us, which nullifies your point completely.
2 - “The party chat filter was obviously the best decision you could have made right? Yeh shut up” - Sarcasm and insulting straight to us doesn’t make a good point. The party chat filter helped so that you don’t get annoyed if someone reports you for swearing in the party when you were friends.
3 - Refer to TheJeroen’s post.
4 - “Health indicators being unfair bring Escalated.... if not dump that trash into your useless brains” - Another insult for a point, you’re on a roll! Escalated means that a staff member believes that it is a viable suggestion, which may not necessarily be the same opinion for another staff member or management.
5 - “Make your games more competitive” - I would say that most of our games are competitive, if not all of them have some sort of competitive aspect. Even Freebuild, where you’re competing for the most amount of diamonds for your plot.
6 - “Why would anyone play MINECRAFT BATTLE ROYALE with literally 2 people and spend $26 instead of playing Fortnite and it’s free” - From the update of Battle Zone, there has been more than two players playing the game, plus it cannot start unless it has a certain amount of players. And the mention of money is a fair point - however adding this game appeals to both the Minecraft players and the Battle Royale players. People who bought Minecraft might be excited that their other favourite game was added to a server, which it’s mechanics in every way far exceeds any other revamp. It’s made multiple YouTubers come back and record on the server. To me, that’s more of a positive.
7 - “Change your staff... you literally have staff who haven’t said a single word or staff that haven’t logged on in a month” - Staff may have some sort of hiatus due to personal reasons - soon, I have to get off the Internet for a bit due to exams. Others may be moving, or dealing with personal issues which May make them have an inability to join the server. Classing it as “Your staff are lazy and don’t want to come on. Get new ones.” is a bit insensitive, as you don’t know these people. We are always looking for staff though!
We do appreciate your concerns about the server, there are multiple different avenues which you could have made to articulate your points a bit better, instead of splurting out everything that’s “wrong”.
Have a wonderful bank holiday Monday! :)
