Java Custom Kill Messages

Hey xd. So if you have Plus you have custom kill messages. My suggestion is to make it so you can make your own kill messages. (Maybe in all ranks to make them more worth-it)
Eg. BringMeZHorizon was flattened by MinecraftFont’s car. (Pls no kill me @BringMeZPeanutButter) To add a custom kill effect~ (cube staff have to think of this lol)

Hey, thanks for making this suggestion. Whilst thinking about the kill messages, we already discussed about allowing players to have custom kill messages. It's on the same lines as allowing players to have their own nicks, people can abuse the system and have inappropriate names. We also thought about allowing staff to approve the kill messages, but it just wouldn't work with the system and we didn't really want to give staff members more work.

As for your other idea, kill effects are already on my list as a new possible loot item. But thanks anyway :D

It would be cool to have (although I don't have plus), So maybe having them checked by staff before use would be a good idea to avoid the inappropriate or offensive names/dead messages

I think it would be great to see. I don’t think most of the plus users would abuse it. Maybe add a limit how many characters you can have and make it reportable if someone have an offensive kill message.

I agree with this. Not enabling a feature just because there is A CHANCE for MONTHLY DONATORS to abuse it doesnt make sense. If you want to remove all chances for someone to say something offensive, why not monitor every message sent? Why not check the ign of every person joining the server? It is because it isnt feasible. The best you can do is report, and to be honest, why would someone pay 7 pounds to get plus rank, and throw that money away by getting banned for an innapropriate kill message? Doesnt make sense to me.

There are already systems in place to prevent bad chat messages, I dont understand why they cannot just apply that to kill messages. It's fairly easy to report or ban people if they abuse the system. Saying this system can be abused is like saying they shouldn't have chat because it can be abused.

Well the suggestion would be very good, but some cases the community (not all) could put offensive messages or insults in the messages of deaths.
