Custom message when buying..

Let's be honest; no one ever buys points multiplier.

Points Multiplier is an item available at the store, when buying, you'll activate double points for a specific game for an hour long.
When bought, it says "OfficiallyBerre has activated Double Points!"
Everyone just enjoys free points only because YOU bought it.

I thought it'd be a cool thing to be able to add custom messages!

C U R R E N T L Y: +2 points (OfficiallyBerre's double Skywars point multiplier)
N E W: +2 points (<custom message> -OfficiallyBerre)
+2 points (Enjoy the game, peeps -OfficiallyBerre) (Example)
This would encourage more players to actually buy points multiplier..
Ofcourse, there would be some rules for this!

• No advertising
• No bullying
• No swearing
• ...

If a player is in violation with one of these rules, they get the right punishment. The same punishment as if you would do it in normal chat. Also, the message would get removed.

I can already tell that if this was added in, it can be highly abused. If players broke the rules for it, what would the punishment be? It’s almost like punishing them for helping the server. It’s simply just not necessary and in my opinion, I think they already get enough recognition from activating it.

The same punishment as if you would do it in normal chat. Also, the message would get removed.

This punishment doesn’t make a lot of sense. The multipliers are being activated through some sort of system (I don’t know too much about) so it wouldn’t really make sense to mute them.

I’m sure there’s are many other ways we can up the ante for multipliers and maybe add something that will have everyone wanting to buy.
In conclusion, it’s something that can be highly abused and something we currently don’t need.

A way to kinda add this could be having predetermined messages. So when you activate the multiplier, you can select a message out of a list ranging from ‘Hello all!’ to some silly messages, or whatever.
Then with every purchase of a multiplier, you could submit a message that might be added to the list directly allowing the community to contribute to the list. Of course any swear words or inappropriate messages would not be added. :D

I have seem people buy the multiplier, but because it is actually kind of expensive for just 1 hour, I agree with this.

Maybe you can open a GUI where you can select different senses. So you can't abuse it.
