I think that every day, some/all of the developers should spend 5 minutes come to the suggestions section and comment on the suggestions, either "We will work on your suggestion once we have time!" or "this suggestion won't work because...". I mean, it'll only take 5 minutes a day! Is that too much to ask :D (so don't say "developers are very busy" because we know they are, but they can spare 5 minutes a day, can they :)?)

Reasons:
*Ironic how they rarely to reply to suggestions.
*Releases stress and frustration within the community. They don't even have to work on the suggestions until their current (and queued) projects are complete (unless the suggestion is really small and won't take very long to code).
*The more the developers listen to the community, the better.

The developers already get so much pressure for the anticheat and unreleased gamemodes that most suggestions can't be taken without taking priority from those projects. This is why most updates to current games are made mostly by the build team and not the dev team as they are working on new things rather than updates most of the time.

(This is just what I think happens not completely sure though)

Developers don't decide (Say that five times fast) if suggestions get added. That's the job of the admins and the owners. Also, this would just slow the process of updates even more.

It's only 5 minutes a day.

I don't really think the problem is listening to suggestions. Maybe they just don't want to reply.

Developers do listen to suggestions, for example, I suggested the /fr command and it got implemented almost three days after. Some suggestions are bigger than others, and therefore more time-consuming, and some are very small, like the /fr command.

The problem is not that we, or rather the admins because they decide what is added, cannot simply decide to add features on the spot.
Designing an update/gamemode takes time and effort and you can't just go around the forums and add suggestions when you like them. They have to fit in and they have to be possible. Because of this you have to discuss the suggestion with other people first. Even if it gets planned it can be removed later because it turned out it doesn't work well, isn't possible etc. Confirming suggestions will only end up upsetting people because even though it was accepted and they were excited to see it in-game it did not get added in the end. Keep doing suggestions, because we do use them, we just cannot always guarantee them to be in the actual update.

I listen to suggestions and make/improve my own projects, and I am an indie developer ;)

You must say "CubeCraft's Developers", otherwise you refer to the whole Spigot/Bukkit developer's community

I think you mean, the players look if a suggestion is a cool idea, then tag an admin, and they say if its good, and they suggest it to a dev, so they can add it?

Actually they do listen to suggestion since half the forums suggestions were "Give Meh Freebuild" and "Make Meh Anticheat" :P technically the anticheat is still being improved but they did it :P

here is how i like and wish i could do to any of my suggestions

Day #1 - Post Suggestion, Look at communities thoughts on it
Day#2 - If a lot of positiveness on the thread i will tag a Helper/Mod for their thoughts
Day#3 - Helper/Mod gives good feedback tag an admin
Day#4 - Get the news from the admin, "Will this be added?" "Why This Should(n't) Get Added" and "Thoughts On This Idea"
Problem is Staff members do take some time to reply but always remember
"Staff members are not robots on the computer constantly looking through threads, they are humans with normal lives too"
Just be patient

Some suggestions are added. Like the coin exchanger in assassins and /fmsg and even more. They do respond. Not every idea is a good one though.

I think there is a lot of suggestions and it would be a lot to read through every one especially if they are not actually suggestions. Mods do a pretty good job of going through forums and everything so if they do see a good suggestion, usually they comment and hopefully tell the higher admins :)

that is why if it gets a lot of +1's they tag a staff member, if a lot of -1's most likely no staff member will be tagged (hopefully! We don't want to waste their time)
