So i was on the creative server and there was a lot of different languages being used. I was thinking maybe chat channels could clean up the chat a bit, I don't know how hard it would be to add but just a suggestion :)

Personally, I like this and dislike it at the same time.

On one side, this would reduce multi-lingual spam by a large margin
Wouldn't that be seen as segregation, in some ways?
Would you take offense if you were asked to switch the dialogue of a game to English (assuming it was Spanish by default)?
It really wouldn't offend anyone in my eyes, if anything it would allow them to talk to friends easier and have a clearer chat experience.

Pardon the half post above, messed up on the draft system.

Just wanted to say that it would reduce multi-lingual spam by a fair amount, but we might need some extra people who are also fluent in said languages to moderate chat. The current staff team has most languages covered however, but they cannot be online 24/7.

Idk
In-game? I personally agree, yet I disagree. As it has been stated above, this would somewhat help those who speak the same language to be able to communicate clearer in a sense.
Although this does not seem to have any form of segregation included, I can see that many people would take this somewhat offensive. The main purpose really (in my opinion) is to try to satisfy the majority of the community. Having different chat channels... hmm.. I feel as if it would be a little more complicated for staff members to have players not abuse the chat. Everyone being able to communicate on one chat channel would give staff members and even players an easier vision of the ones who happen to use the chat incorrectly. Although I'm guessing that the staff members and some others obtain the main languages used on the server frequently, it would still be somewhat more complex to keep the chat intact if you will.

I don't like this idea, I like the chat just how it is, with people speaking lots of languages

Staff already discussed this a while ago and came to the conclusion not to implement it.
Thanks for the suggestion :)
