Discord dont mute ranked users on discord

hi i got muted twice already for posting links, one of the links was google.com and the other one was a tv show. I suggest that users who bought a rank or boosted shouldn't be muted for this as it can be quite annoying when having a convo. It should still notify staff tho. thanks for reading

The main reason we added the filter was to reduce the amount of Steam-scam links. Any accounts (including ranked ones) can get compromised, we've actually had a few compromised ranked accounts sending scam links. If you think a link should be unblocked you can just let us know in staff-help

How about blocking the phishing links regardless of ranks?

Ranked/booster players/users should have the same rules as everyone... If a "ranked player" account get hacked and send scam link, you won't be muted/banned? Unfair

theres no rule against sending links + it would only prevent mutes, not bans + you can still filter phishing links regardless of the ranks of the user

Unfortunately, the majority of the links being filtered by the bot are not appropriate for the Discord server. Most of these links are indeed phishing scams(which change extremely often so its impossible ban them all) and advertising links. Instead of no filtering, maybe you can suggest a few sites that can be added to the link whitelist. Additionally, the Cubecraft Discord server is primarily focused on talking with other players for Cubecraft topics. While off topic discussion is allowed and encouraged, potentially you can just DM the link to the person asking for it or part of the conversation or move the conversation somewhere else.
