Alright so apparently someone made a thread saying it shouldn’t be allowed, but honestly, it doesn’t provide an unfair advantage.

let’s say someone is not on a laptop so they join CubeCraft with their mouse, plays some EggWars, and then gets banned. They then wait out their ban.

30 days later, they decide to log into the server again with the same mouse, the server actually thinking they would not have it. They can’t control their mouse’s double click then gets banned AGAIN. They then send an appeal, somehow it gets accepted, then they log into CubeCraft with their mouse and get banned for the 3RD TIME. I’m in fear right now because this might happen to ME.
You see, for 90% of mice, if you click hard enough on them it will cause them to start double clicking. A lot of players use office mouses because they are poor and are getting banned when their mouse starts double clicking because office mice end up double clicking VERY easily and can cause HUNDREDS of false bans just because the player was using their mouse just to play on CubeCraft.

this has happened on MANY servers I don’t need to give the names to, causing them to change their rules and unban double clicking.

to people who think double clicking is op, it’s not. Are you on your iPad/Console? Try getting a PC and a $2 office mouse and you’ll see what I mean.

and if you’re good at PvP, you can easily counter double clickers (as long as they aren’t PvP gods themselves)

now for Drag clicking, it isn’t an unfair advantage. Just use grip tape on your mouse and BOOM! You can drag click. Works on 85% of mice. Plus it’s not even that good for PvP anyways.

So we should unban double clicking and drag clicking HOWEVER, auto-clicking and macros should remain banned.

The thing about mobile and console is. They can't Butterfly, drag or even really jitterclick. Sure controller COULD butterfly or jitter but it changes how you hold the controller and how you have to play.
Why does PC need a much larger advantage over those players when everyone on PC can't double click?

IF YOU CAN NOT keep your CPS between different mice that clicking method is cheated.
Example
If I butterfly click 13 on a Rival 650 by Steelseries I get 13 CPS (this mouse does not double click mechanically without macros)
Then I buy a Model O by Glorious, now I am getting 22CPS butterfly click due to double clicking(This mouse also doubles more over time due to a poor build quality for a "premium" mouse)

It's not consistent, not legit, not fair.

and if you’re good at PvP, you can easily counter double clickers (as long as they aren’t PvP gods themselves)

It's like saying "Autoclickers don't get an advantage" when they do. It's why they autoclick. ALTHOUGH they are STILL killable just like people with KillAura and fly.
It's still an unfair advantage that not EVERYONE can do.

So we should unban double clicking and drag clicking HOWEVER, auto-clicking and macros should remain banned.

Now think about autoclickers. You have a software that automatically clicks for you so you don’t have to click. And not only that, it is 100+ CPS. Autoclickers would definitely be bannable.

And killaura as well as fly are cheats. Killaura is an autoclicker that makes you hit without looking at the player and for fly…just no.

yea it is a skill issue. A skill issue for kids that double click and think their 20+cps is legit when it’s not.

Give me a trackpad
Give me a keyboard button
Give me any mouse
I can jitter 17cps average on ALL of them.

Now if you still use the mouse you havr now. You’ll get 20cps.
Use the mouse I have? No you would get 10cps

it’s possible with drag though. It just depends in the mouse you get. And most mice are set to a 10ms debounce so 100cps would be the cap.

Autoclicker shouln't be allowed due to its an illegal modification.
It's not legit (I mean you are not clicking, its just installing a program)

I also personally don’t *really* like the debounce rule, for two reasons:

- 90% of the community still lowers their debounce anyways.
- Lowering debounce isn’t giving you MORE cps, it’s just not BLOCKING extra physical clicks from happening.

i completely understand banning MACROS though, that’s blatantly giving yourself extra non-physical CPS.

As for dragclick, no. Dragclicking is so bad you can make crazy block clutches, literally no one would fall off the map anymore. I think it’s better to leave it banned.

Not blocking “physical” clicks more as it is blocking clicks that you never made(because of a poor quality switch)

We learned in math that having 2 points on the Y axis that are the same on the X axis are impossible.
The person that showed me this said “My mouse can not double”
But half of the clicks involved doubles (9/10 to be exact)
Which basically doubles their cps and becomes an advantage over other people especially when placing blocks.


Also I think it’s more off the staff favoring their friends rather than banning them when they double click. And thats the biggest problem on cubecraft
As well as the staff team being untrained and have no idea what a double click looks like.

Correction, You click 10cps but end up getting 20 due to double clicks. SO in other words you are essentially double click macroing.
