Well, it should be.
Drag Clicking is quite a controversial method to improve a player's in-game ability but it virtually works like cheating.

1 - To drag click you either need a good mouse or tape, excluding players from consoles, mobiles and ones who can't afford a good mouse.
This by itself created a big advantage difference between players on different devices.

2 - Drag clicking also requires tape, in most cases, making it against the rules by default (https://help.cubecraft.net/en/artic...#2-third-party-client-modifications-or-addons), by allowing drag clicking any player who uses tape would be allowed to play without repercussions.

3 - One of the first arguments used to dismiss drag clicking as an unfair advantage is the addition of a cps cap, this does not remove the fact that a player using Drag Clicking will always be able to reach the cap faster than any other player regardless of their device.

4 - Finally, while mastering drag clicking takes time, it works virtually the same way as bridging, just without a client, comparing the building speeds of an hacked client to the ones of a drag clicker makes barely any difference.

Now, if you use drag-clicking or you don't think it is unfair, I would like to hear why in the replies, why do you think you deserve an advantage over other people who are playing normally?

I imagine this could be/was a nightmare to moderate. It's probably very hard to see who is using drag clicking, or other high CPS clicking methods and come to the conclusion that the player has an unfair advantage. I think the CPS cap is a good middle ground here that ensures players can use the clicking method of their choice while also being fair for hopefully most of the community.

Possibly lowering the CPS cap is the more viable approach here unless moderators have a better way of telling if someone is drag clicking compared to other methods besides requiring a handcam/evidence every time. Either way, no matter what route is taken with allowing/disallowing drag clicking there will be disagreements.

At the moment I guess the rule is that you can use any mouse of your choice and do whatever you want with your fingers but not make any physical or software alteration to the mouse, which is fair enough for both moderators and community members. At the moment if someone is clicking at speeds outside of this natural human range I'm sure that's what would be considered punishable. So if you are dragging with tape, that's already banable

I just think it's probably really hard to moderate drag clicking (something you can't actually see a player doing, or could mistake it for something else) and therefor it was easier to just add a CPS cap

1. I don't get this bit as people can always have better equipment than you, that's not a Cubecraft issue. I can't complain to Cubecraft I have to fight against someone with 100 FPS when I have 30

2. You're not allowed drag click with tape (although again, something very difficult to moderate, but if it's un-human then it's probably already being punished for)

^ i personally don't feel like drag is the most fair thing in the world, but it's literally impossible to moderate. When it's not allowed the entire reports list is people accusing anyone who clicks fast of drag clicking with a video that makes it impossible to tell. For something that is ambiguously unfair anyway it's not worth dealing with

I know its frustrating when players use drag clicking to bridge, fight, and even clutch. Even i made many player reports recording fast clickers (drag clicking, auto clicking, butterfly or any other clicking method just otherthan normal). But it becomes to difficult to moderate as you cant tell which player was using which clicking method at the time of report. Most of the report evidence is usually insufficient to prove that its unfair.
Also considering the number of false reports from player who would just report you if they get killed by you once or twice and they arent able to hit you. There were way too many reports on modified clicking method before drag clicking was allowed and cps cap was set. Not just that but there was also a ton of request/suggestion to allow drag clicking even from cubecraft partners. So its better to be at place were it is today.
