Ignore the stuff off to the side. I hosted a tournament, and that was the podium stuff.

Hey! you forgot to add the poll.
I think the map looks pretty much like the team eggwars map "Rome" (Idk if it exists on bedrock)
I think it would look better without the creeper face texture on 70% of the blocks which makes it look messy.
The middle is round but the walls around it are more square-ish than round, colosseums usually round as far as I know.

In my opinion, the theme is definitely interesting, but the map doesn't really look that good and all. The main PvP space is interrupted by those structures which makes it look cramped and small. I'm not sure wether a Duels map should have lava and fire in it, there was a map that used to have a lava lake and it got covered with glass because it was just too annoying, so I don't think that's a good idea. Sandstone walls are 1.14+ by the way, and CubeCraft's Duels runs on 1.9 so those would have to be removed. And even if they could stay, they don't look good and seem as if it'll only make the map take longer to load.
Perhaps this map would be a good addition to CubeCraft if it had more detail in it, and if the PvP space was bigger and didn't have so many obstacles around it. In my most sincere opinion, even if the map doesn't look necessarily bad, the quality of the build just isn't the best and definitely not fitting for a server like CubeCraft.

Thanks for the advice. I am willing to make changes based on people's input, and yours is greatly appreciated. I do not believe that Rome is an eggwars map on Bedrock, but I don't play very much eggwars, so correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you for your response!

I like the idea but the map itself doesn't include much depth or block variation. It all kinda looks the same. Try adding some cool patterns and more depth to the floors/walls, and make it a bit bigger too.

Hello uhohspaghettio thank you for your efforts in submitting this.

Unfortunately, collectively the design team have decided to deny this map submission due to the following reasons:

- It's simply too big for us to support with our current chunk loader on duels. It would take 3 mins to generate the map.
Do’s
  • Make an arena around 40 x 40 or 30 x 60.
  • Make a unique theme.
  • Make it fairly flat. Absolutely no hills.
  • Using water/lava can be strategic in map making for this type of gamemode.
  • Make an interesting pattern or detailed design for the walls of the arena. 4 blocks thick is the ideal size to speed up map generation.

Don’ts
  • Do not make the walls tall (30 blocks max). 16 blocks is the preferable size.
  • Do not leave any excess blocks on the outside of the map.
  • Do not use ice and snow!
  • Do not make a deathtrap (void) which you can walk into straight away from spawning.
  • Do not use huge amounts of water which fills the entire map, it’s very annoying to fight in.
  • Avoid too many obstacles being everywhere, players can often run around one obstacle the whole game (5 mins).
  • Do not use barrier blocks.
- Also this is quite plain, I can't give you much advice other than submit a new concept as the scale and the design is simply impractical for the game you are submitting too.

Please do not be disheartened and I hope you submit another map in future, thanks!
