I just realized a problem with the compass (Thanks to @iLoveYouu for making me realize it :) )
As Most servers have it is that the compass points to the location of the player while also giving you how far away (s)he is away from you and it also shows the Y level (s)he is at, sometimes they also have it in different colors depending on what team the person is in

Why do we need this?
Some players Hide Or Camp in a place where (s)he isn't visible but the compass gives you brief information about the location but it usually isn't enough because when you are on the same block the player could be in 249 different heights (Bedrock-Build Limit)
What Should It Do?
-Show the Y number of the opposing player
-Give you how far away is the enemy in blocks
-Tells you who is it pointing towards with a color of the team (s)he is on (OPTIONAL)

This would be good against those nasty campers that hide. Of course, this being done after all of freebuild and the anti-cheat stuff. If those are the same devs. It would be a nice small change!

Not a bad suggestion, it would help out a lot finding campers. However it's not extremely necessary because if your compass starts spinning in circles etc, the player usually is above you or below you.

but what if (s)he is under the island, also in some maps (Treehouse) You can be at the bottom of middle and notice your compass spin around, meaning your enemy most likely is above you but since a lot of structures are above you it will be difficult to pinpoint the enemy

As I said, I think this would make the compass a lot better, but it's not extremely necessary as it's not extremely difficult to locate players who are above you or below you.

The Distance is almost a must cause you cannot tell how far away your enemy is (Is he at mid or is he at his island, I CAN'T TELL)
The Height Could be helpful as i stated above in the map treehouse or other big maps with objects floating, but sometimes it saves you a lot of time

-Guys Give me your thoughts about This idea i am about to sate, it is an alternative for the Height Detector
It will Say + or -
+ meaning the player is above you by 1 or more blocks
- meaning the player is under you by 1 or more blocks
This might cut the unnecessary Searching time

The compass is already super effective as it says its really useful in finding afk players that are hiding especially if theyve hid out of render distance

A distance indicator would be great as even with the comapss its hard to find some people who are hiding in weird places.

In eggwars it once took 2 hours to find a guy because he had pillard out of render distance and went afk
Another reason to add this :)

The compass as it is now, in my opinion, is just to tell you where they are briefly then you have to figure the rest out yourself.
I don't think it's made to spoon feed you their location.

I personally really like the compass as it is right now :)
It's quite exciting to find the enemy yourself and to be honest it isn't too difficult.
