In eggwars the kit feather feet gives you chain mail boots and a perk that grants you feather falling IV on all your boots. This kit is wonderful, you can build higher with having to worry about falling and dying. Yet it has one enormous problem, in overpowered the chain mail boots come without protection IV which is a mayor disadvantage as you take more damage as leather boots would be better. One could say it would be too much to give chain mail boots with protection IV in the beginning of the game, but this is done in normal (without the protection obviously), so I don't know why the kit is not changed according to the mode you're playing in.
I would herby like to make the suggestion of make the kits change according to the mode you are playing, with the following proposition.
  • Hardcore : Maybe chain mail to leather (not sure)
  • Normal: Left unchanged
  • Overpowered: Adding enchantment, protection IV, to the chain mail boots

Hardcore: leather boots with feather falling IV
Normal: leather boots with feather falling IV
OP: leather boots with feather falling IV + protection IV

I do not like the chain as it is a +10 gold advantage right from the start (for normal and OP, god knows how much chain costs in hardcore)

yes. I've asked for this multiple times now, a lot of others have too, most people seem to agree, honestly don't know why kits are still soo unbalanced.

if feel like in hardcore there is only one kit to choose the eggshell armour because it basicly gives you 80 iron. because to craft full leather it costs 80 iron. So i think that has to be ballenced first because thats so OP. maybe in hardcore let it have only 20 durability ore something

I think this would encourage camping/sky basing, as many players would see this as a way to build up really high, camp there, and if they fell or were knocked off they would easily survive.
I'm sorry but I don't support this.

It will be too overpowered in certain maps to protection 4 and feather falling chain boots it’s just too much.It depends on point of view but It will be too good for the Overpowered mode.
Meanwhile leather boots for hardcore with feather falling 4 does not sound like something that crazy to me.
