This was one of the main reasons the seasons were removed. We want seasons to return in the future, and we want seasonal leaderboards to be a core part of them.
However, at the time of writing this, our current player stats system has trouble handling a system like this (Season 1 was a trial, and we found many flaws with how we handle data for it).
It's currently under a rewrite which will allow for seasonal leaderboards in the future, but until it's done, fully tested, and trialed, then we won't be able to provide them. But it is planned.
