The first problem is the fact you made the map public. CubeCraft only uses original builds, and if you've offered it to other servers then it becomes unoriginal.

Next, the build itself is very poorly executed. All the islands and statues are so obviously created with a massive amount of world edit, the block palette is very random, and the build doesn't quite match the 'Mario' theme.

Well sorry. But it doesn't quite meet the Builders' standards.

She wasn't trying to be mean, it was constructive criticism; it gives you an idea of what to improve on. The islands are all identical Wario statues with a different colour-scheme and although it is a good build, the middle doesn't seem to represent anything but is just a combination of various blocks of little relevance to the Mario games.

Comparing this with our biggest map, which is TeaParty (which is 40 people), this looks small, specially the middle. the Islands look all similar but with a different shade of color too.. also for a big map, the main islands need to be somewhat bigger, specially since you're considering this map to be a 50-player one.
